THE WALL OF FIRE THAT HIT UTAH OVERNIGHT (9/19) IS WORTHY OF A NICE GODSMACK. Not to mention fires that destroyed/killed recently in Colorado, Michigan and California.
The current Utah fire has burned 3500 acres so far, near Salt Lake. The fire, dubbed the Machine Gun Fire (it was started by military types practicing their shooting), has left a "footprint" of 10,000 acres. Evacuation orders for about 5,000 people in 1,600 households were still in place, and factors including the weather would determine when the orders would be lifted. Herriman City Councilman Mike Day’s family was one of those that fled the encroaching flames. "I saw a wall of fire coming down the hill rapidly.”
“Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.” Isaiah 24:6.
