Overnight (4/9) a U.S. aircraft/Osprey crashed in southern Afghanistan, killing three U.S. service members and one civilian. Cause? Taliban: “We did it.” False-tongued military: “Mechanical failure.” God’s servants: “God did it!” (We win!)
LATimes: “U.S. battlefield casualties have spiked in the first quarter of this year, with deaths roughly doubling from the same period a year ago.”
