I Hope Chris Broussard Doesn’t Compromise The Word Of God To Save His Own Skin.

Stern 2

Sportswriter Chris Broussard is a very good, down to earth, NBA ‘insider’ at ESPN. He used to play in the league, and he is always the one who has the scoop on what’s going on in the league, especially trades.

I was doing paperwork and had “Outside The Lines” on in the background when he was talking about Jason Collins coming out of the proverbial closet. Supposedly Collins is “the first openly gay athlete in the history of professional sports.” Broussard said:

“Personally, I don’t believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly, like premarital sex between heterosexuals. If you’re openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits. It says that, you know, that’s a sin. If you’re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, whatever it maybe, I believe that’s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. So I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I don’t think the Bible would characterize them as a Christian.”

Amazingly clear and Biblically accurate. Praise God.

As I see it, ESPN has two options: issue an ultimatum to Broussard (kiss fag ass or quit) or ignore this happening completely (despite the caterwauling from the fag community). I hope he doesn’t compromise the Word of God to save his own skin.

Matthew 5:11  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
