There Is Blessed Peace For A Troubled Soul In Obedience To God In Christ

WBC-

Hi. I’ve been thinking about what you said about me supporting the Catholic church just by attending a catholic church and being somewhat catholic even though I’m not 100 percent Catholic. While none of the priests I’ve had are monsters (the term pedophile is too nice a word for someone who sexually touches a child) monsters is so much more appropriate-I realize that by attending services I’m supporting people who do things I disagree with, (confession and such) and I’m supporting the Diocese who covered up the rapes instead of calling the cops. I’m reconsidering being  Catholic. This is quite terrifying for me but quite necessary. Trouble is, every religion has their head people and regular people harmingother people, every religion has crooked leaders, no different than politics-like Bill Clinton who says you shouldn’t spank your kids but felt it was fine to cheat on his wife… Well, if I decide not to be a Catholic anymore and not to go to my church anymore, then my plan is to somehow get baptized as a non denominational Christain. Why I wanted you knowing this I don’t know, but I did.

Good morning, Cari –

Thanks for writing.  I can only follow up the rest of our discussions with this:  If you go to any place in Doomed america to look for the truth of God, other than at Westboro Baptist Church, you are wasting your time.  With boldness I say those words, as we have spent the past 21 years looking in every corner of this nation and the Lord our God, in loving kindness and mercy has opened the doors for HIS word to saturate this land such that if there were any preachers at this hour that would speak for God in truth, we would know them and we would have close communion with them.

If you desire ANYTHING other than salvation from God and hope of eternity in Heaven, don’t bother to leave the Catholic pedophile monster.  Or put it like this:  Mt 16:26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

There is blessed peace for a troubled soul in obedience to God in Christ.

Thanks for writing.
