Rebels Are Not Brethren

John 13:34-35 New International Version (NIV  )

34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

how can you claim to follow the lord when Jesus ate with the tax collectors and the drunkards and still loved them. Satan is deceiving you more than any of you can realize he has his hold on you so tight all of you cannot even see that the lord is against your hate. Satan is using this for his means to turn people away from the lord and to cause the world to hate believers….If only everyone of you had a true relationship with the lord and actually listened to his words that he speaks to us everyday you would bring more people to the father.

please respond I truly want to understand

Thankfully, Our Father defined what love is – to speak truth to your neighbor, rebuking them early and often about sin that they are fully aware of the eternal consequences of sin. You do that with your brethren AND your enemies. That is how you love your fellow man and that commandment was given in the beginning and found first in the Book of Leviticus. Not doing exactly that, the Lord says that your hate them in your heart.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. [Leviticus 19:17-18]

Those that have a common fear of the Lord, the brethren, is who Christ is talking to in John 13. The rebellious proud sinner IS NOT your brother but your enemy in that they hate God and hate His judgments. To love your enemy means to preach a message of warning about sin, that they be without excuse when called before God, or per chance, one of His sheep may be called unto repentance by that warning. However, loving one another of the brethren is a deeper affection for the people of God, to include rebuking and admonishing one another about sin, but also to daily minister or serve our Co-Elect, knowing THAT is the basis for the Great General Judgment. How did you treat HIS PEOPLE? (Matthew 25) His people are the sheep, the Elect, the remnant, who OBEY. The enemies are referred to as goats, dogs, reprobates, vipers, etc that will be cast into the lake of fire.

Christ knew the hearts of the penitent sinners and knew the hearts of the proud sinners. He spoke plainly to the proud sinner that their stiff-necked rebellion was taking them to hell. He spoke in parables that they would never understand, lest they repent and be converted. He chose carefully who to heal and show His compassion and mercy to. Not all were healed to show us His sovereignty and His perfect will to have mercy on whom He will have mercy.

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. [John 12:40]

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. [Exodus 33:19]

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [Romans 9:15]

Pray that you are not of those blinded but that your eyes may be opened and repent and obey.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [2 Thessalonians 2:10]
