It’s Not A “Nice” Thing — It’s A “Commandment” Thing — It’s An “Obey” Thing

Excuse me WBC,

My name is Ivy, and I’m sixteen years old. I’ve been hearing and seeing a lot about you guys from my friends and on the news, and I was just wondering,I know that you think you’re doing a good thing and all, but can you please explain, in the Bible, where exactly does it say that being homosexual is a generally bad thing? I’m not trying to be rude, and I’m really sorry if I come off this way. I myself am not gay, but I know a bunch of people who are, and they’re a lot nicer than people I know that are straight. It just seems as if you’re jumping to conclusions about all gays. I’m not saying you should go and get a gay friend, but maybe if you tried to talk to them a little? Again, I don’t mean to come off rude or anything, and I don’t really expect you to respond, but I’m sixteen and it really hurts to see my friends being targeted like it’s a crime for them to be alive. I was taught all men are created equal, and to love each person no matter what their personal beliefs are. And I understand that you’re just showing what you believe in, and that’s great! It really is, to stand up for something you believe in. But you, your group, your church, community, you’re all hurting people. And the God that you all worship, I thought that he was trying to make us love him and each other, not try to break people down. I might be wrong, and if I am, I’m really really sorry to have not treated your religion the way you might deem fit. I have actually gone to Bible camp for about five years now (that’s the youngest they allow), as well as Church on a regular basis, and all i’m seeing is Jesus telling the world to love? And I know that you might find this whole message “foolish and unlearned”, but I truly just want to know. I’m not saying to stop what you believe in, just maybe stop for a second and think that these people, the gays? That maybe you might be targeting their sex lives and trying to tell them that what they are doing is wrong and sinful, but they’re people, too, you know? Like, they’re someones son, or daughter, brother, or sister, mother or father? Someones best friend? Maybe what you’re doing is causing them extreme emotional distress and causing them to try suicide? And I’m pretty sure that’s a sin worse than almost anything, certainly worse than being gay. Also, isn’t that considered assisted suicide? And that’s like homicide, and THAT, sir or madame, is a sin worthy of the lowest circle of hell, right next to pride. But again, I don’t mean to be rude at all. I do have another question, though, and if you have read this far, if you won’t answer the question about the homosexuals, can you please answer this? Please? You see, my uncle, he is in the Navy, and I hear that that’s the worst part of a war, the front lines. I was just wondering, if- God forbid- he dies out there, protecting me and my family, are you guys going to come out to our funeral, while we mourn for one of the bravest men we know, telling his children he’ll never come back, are you going to come out and scream and yell at us? Because for that, well, for that, your God will never, ever forgive you. I really am sorry if any of this came out rude or unlearned, or unworthy of any kind of response, but I’ve heard of you guys, and I just really want to know why you do what you do if it hurts so many people. My moms church just loves and prays for the people in Iraq, and I think they all have separate opinions as individuals on gays, but they all worship the same God. Do you? I just can’t comprehend how people that I see every Sunday can be worshiping the same God and still be so different from you? I’m not saying that either of you are right or wrong, but would you please respond to answer my questions? Please just consider what I’ve said. Thank you, again.

Hi Ivy,

Our website, www.godhatesfags.com is absolutely full of answers to all of your questions.  Romans 1:18-32 is a good place for your to start that addresses homosexuality. Also, Jude 7-8. This isn’t a nice thing – it’s a commandment thing.  It’s an obey thing.

Re 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

1Jo 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1Jo 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Christ said at Joh 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments; and at Joh 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  Christ also said Mt 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. The way to heaven is not to violate all of the commandments of God. The way to heaven is not to enrage the God that made us male and female. Here is the standard
– Christ talking:
Mat 19:4  And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5  And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6  Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
We tell you plain that Christ is coming to execute judgment.

Jude 14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15   To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16  These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.”

See also, 2 Thes 1:7  … when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. Fags marrying is a sign of Christ’s coming See Luke 17:26-30.

Ecc 12:12  And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13   Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Every person – you, me, your parents, my parents, everyone you know and I know will appear at the judgment seat of Christ and give account with our souls – heaven and hell hanging in the balance.

2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

So, we tell all people to fear God and keep his commandments.

Thanks for writing.
