Ms. Lawson:
There is an eternal principle which will ring in your ears while you gnaw your tongue in pain: “For by thy words thou shalt be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). The Lord’s adjudication of Ms. Lawson will be largely based upon the vomit you spewed in that little nothing of a paper in Marshalltown, Iowa. See, e.g., Matthew 10:42: “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”
You sodomites and enablers in Iowa deserve every ounce of God’s vengeance upon your heads. He’s faithful and he will deliver it to your face. (“And he repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.” Deuteronomy 7:10). Not just because you’re filthy and encourage your peers to engage in the filthiest conduct known to man but mainly because you despise the ambassadors of peace from the Lord’s church (WBC) and demonize, marginalize and vilify them. It’s Satan’s tactic because he can’t win on the merits. Your wild beasts called citizens threatened death when we peacefully stood on your public streets that Sunday afternoon (the second soldier’s funeral in Iowa that day that the Lord mercifully permitted us to picket; the first in Iowa City, IA). You’re welcome.
But I write concerning my epiphany. In May, 1991, when we first began to preach on the streets, the population of Topeka, Kansas–exactly like the 310 million doomed americans–thought they could with violence and slander stop the Lord’s preaching. Rots of ruck. On a certain date in the Summer of 1992 I had my epiphany in Gage Park (10th & Gage–about 2 blocks north of your favorite watering hole, McDonald’s) in the middle of a hoard of animals (counter-picketers called “Sunday in the Park Without Fred” gang; Gage Park is also known for its “World Famous Topeka Zoo”, so they felt right at home); it went like this: As I basked in the warmth of the sun, which took the chill off of the reception, holding my sign “God Hates Fags” high in the air; my epiphany: Every person in the world will be compelled to take a position on this most important Gospel statement (“God Hates Fags”) in this last doomed age of mankind. 123,000 Topekans, 310 million americans, 7 Billion plus worldings. And the Lord has made it to be so. Because, as he has promised:“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the things whereto I send it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” (Isaiah 55:10-13).
