Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday And Today And For Ever (Hebrews 13:8)

Good morning WBC!

I hope you have time to answer my two questions!

1. If God really is almighty, would it not be fair to say that it is impossible to know what will eventually lead us to heaven, what will lead us to hell? I know you could follow the holy Bible and His commandments, but, being almighty, God could change His/Her mind, couldn’t He/She? He could make the Bible useless if He so wishes?

We believe God and HIS Words. HE says He changes not. The Lord is clear what manner of person enters Heaven, the contrite and obedient. Unrepentant, proud sinners will not enter the heavenly Kingdom, as in fornicators, adulterers (remarried persons), murderers, idolators, and liars of God’s Word.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

2. You say time is short. I wonder: How short? Is there a specific date? And if so: How do you calculate something like date?

Christ spoke of the importance of discerning the signs of the times, meaning the conditions of the world that should signal the return of the Saviour in power and glory. He spoke of the times being similar to the days of Noah and Lot as written in the book of Genesis. We are in those days as evidenced by the widespread international acceptance of the soul-damning and nation-destroying sin of homosexuality, the lowest rung of depravity, that brought about the destruction of the antediluvian world and the cities of and around Sodom and Gomorrha. Those millions destroyed did not believe Noah and Lot of their impending doom either and mocked their warnings. Bad plan.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Thanks for writing!
