WBC Answers Questions From The Philippines

crazygirls

I come from the Philippines. As you probably know, we’re one of the more dominantly Catholic countries here in Asia. Anyway, I have a few simple questions in mind and hopefully, you can answer them for me.

1. Why does God punish more than He forgives?
2. Why is it that most people say that your Church acts out of fear more than out of love?
3. Why do you promote condemnation rather than salvation?

I really want to know where you’re coming from. I’m currently having a hard time understanding the basis of your beliefs. There is a more peaceful way to resolve the differences of humanity. We are One. All of us are connected. What you do to others, you do to me too. I am saddened and hurt but no less determined to find the truth of each person.

Regardless of our sins, we come from one God. He is the Creator and we are His ultimate creations. So, when we condemn God’s creations, we condemn God Himself. Let us help each other overcome disagreements and seek for a better option.

I hope to hear from you soon.

With joy, truth & love,
Mia

Dear Mia

  1. Because he wants to! Read Romans 9 for best answer to this – NAY BUT O MAN, can the thing formed say to him that formed him – WHY did you make me thus?
  2. Because they have to say something! These words of plain Bible truth squeeze the words out of the rebels! What they gonna say? Can’t say we lied about the words, ok – let us demonize them on motive. WTH?! It is a non-starter! If a rebel has placed all their hopes for eternity on our motive, YIKES!
  3. There is no forgiveness without repentance. We have reached the days of NO REPENTANCE! So why would we waste our breath talking salvation when there is no salvation for those appointed to hell!

Thanks for asking!
