What Is The Wrath Of The Lamb And Who Has Been Appointed Unto It?

wrathof god

Hello WBC-

I am respectfully writing today in hopes that you may answer one of my questions. You preach of scripture and it seems that you focus mainly on Gods Hatred, but don’t Baptists believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God, who died for all of our sins? The SAME Jesus I worship that is known even by non-Christians that was sent from God to Earth to preach love and forgiveness? I have viewed many of your videos on-line and have yet to hear anyone mention Jesus, only the wrath of our God. So I was hoping you could help answer this question in which has been plaguing me.
Thank you for you reply, Cassie

Cassie –
What is ‘the wrath of the Lamb’ referred to at Rev. 6:16? Who is ‘the Lamb?’ Who do you think executes ‘God’s wrath’ at the second coming of Christ? Who does He execute it against?

Read Matt. 25:31-46:

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me
drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Who are ‘the goats?’ What happens to them? Who executes that judgment? You have been brought up with syrupy preaching that will damn your soul. Not being mean – just blunt. There’s not a lot of time. The wrath of God is in PERFECT concert with Christ – the message is one and the same. How is Christ referred to at John 1?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God…. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

You need to get off the Arminian heresy you’ve been brought up in. Why did God destroy Sodom in Genesis 19? And who was Abraham speaking with about that destruction at the end of Genesis 18? Ready? It’s gonna blow your MIND – the Lord Jesus Christ! (It’s called a ‘Christophany’) THAT is the wrath of God.

Furthermore, Read Rom. 1:18-32 on the subject of the wrath of God:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That’s Paul speaking in the New Testament. Is he not a preacher of Christ? You have serious work to do, Cassie. Better get reading – and set the ‘God loves everybody’ reading glasses down this time.

Thanks for writing.
