I want to thank all of you guys at WBC for going to so much effort in speaking out on issues too many Christians (some in name only) have been silent about.
I would like to say that I am not entirely sure about your message as far as the "hatred of God" is concerned, however. Far be it from me to say that your ministry is not from God. I am just trying get my head around it. I do understand that God hates sin and those who cling to their sins will taste the wrath of God.
I also realize that some of the Lord’s messengers were commissioned to present the way God saw His people in ways that were very unconventional. For example Hosea was commanded by the Lord to marry a prostitute so that the condition of Israel and their relationship with God would be depicted in the behavior of that prostitute woman who always ran after other men and cheated on Hosea even though he showed an unreasonable amount of kindness to her.
Another example might be the prophet Ezekiel who was commanded to bake his bread with dung in the sight of the people Israel and eat it in order to show, I believe, how abominable their sins were in the sight of God, even as the food that Ezekiel was supposed to eat.
So on that side of the argument, I see that God indeed uses his servants sometimes in controversial ways.
But how about hatred? Here’s a snippet from your website:

Don’t you think such statements are unnecessary and derogatory? If you are going to call him a "Bloody Beast" I have no objection. He sure has plenty of blood on his hands to account for such a name. The pervasive use of such language and attitude in your ministry is what makes me doubt its authenticity.
I genuinely do not want to make a mistake regarding your ministry and hence I would value a reply from yourself and especially Rev. Fred Phelps, so if you find the time to, please send me a few lines regarding this issue. (That is, the use of derogatory and sometimes obscene language in your ministry.)

A proper description of a rebel as the effeminate go-to-guy on all things fag and worse and more is nothing but good. Remember, Alex, that fags are referred to as dogs in the scripture – see Psalm 22 and Deuteronomy 23 and 1 Peter. More on that is exactly what the prophets of old did (e.g. see Amos calling them fat cows in Amos 4:1; and Christ calling Herod a fox and calling them all a generation of vipers in Matthew 23, and an adulterous and sinful generation in Mark 8; and Christ and Paul calling the Scribes and Pharisees (Christ) and high priest (Paul) hypocrites, or as they phrased it, whited wall or whited sepulchers).
Alex – are you kidding me?! We live in a FILTHY generation. Sometimes you have to talk to the rebels, where the rebels live!
How many missives did you write to the media outlets asking about the filthy and over the top words of filth and sex and rebellion that they teach every hour of every day? How many Catholic Whorehouses did you write to tell them that each “priest” that tells the blasphemous lie that “God loves everyone” and remind them that all those lies they tell have brought the curse of God upon that Whorehouse, and pursuant to His promises He has caused those lying bastards (See Hebrews 12 for DEFINITION on bastard) to have a delusion that they must rape boys (hide your kids, hide your wives, hide your husbands’ too, they’re raping everybody up in there!)?
You see, Alex, at the end of the day, your sneaky lie about God hating sin puts you right there in the same category with the rest of the rebels. God hates Esau, Alex. Esau is a person. (see Romans 9 and Malachi 1 and Genesis 25 for some discussion on him and in Hebrews it discusses the FACT that he was a profane person) God hates the workers of iniquity – PEOPLE, ALEX! See Psalm 5:5 and more. Your efforts to conform God and His people to your notions of righteousness will never do.
Don’t forget Isaiah, having to walk naked before Israel for three years. I bet some self-righteous tidy rebels of his day came right out there and told him that he was just obscene and therefore, likely not of God. Here is what a penitent Isaiah said about his generation before God:
Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
If you had any shame, Alex, you would have written an apology to WBC for the changes that we have to go through, as we use every fiber of our being to get this filthy, doomed generation to take heed to the warning and flee the wrath to come!
The time is so very, very short! The destruction is imminent! RUN from your folly! Hate the evil, love the good! Discern between the two! STUDY to show thyself approved unto God, a workman needing not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth!! READ 2 Timothy! READ IT ALL!
