About that Fags Can’t Repent sign…?
We no longer use the Fags Can’t Repent sign because of this:
Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. (Genesis 18:14)
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. (Jeremiah 32:12)
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:2)
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (Mathew 19:26)
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. (Mark 10:27)
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
The better sign would read: NO MAN can or will repent unless God gives him repentance. That must be pared down to fit on a sign.
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. (2 Timothy 2:24-26)
I did not read all your words, because your beginning was based on a lack of information about what I have said here. Please forgive us for any confusion on these points. We learn as we go, and we seek the Lord to help us to see and say right words, HIS words!
