Modern-day, god-loves-everyone-so-it’s-okay-to-be-gay Christiandom is ignorant of or hates this Bible verse: Ex 22:18 “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” It messes with that idol they have created and worship to death: that effeminate, long-haired freaky Jesus. Listen up you fools: Jesus Christ, the Word, says: “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” That don’t sound like God loves everybody to me. Which brings me to my video news report:
Monday, November 11, 2013, Topeka Performing Arts Center hosted Theresa Caputo, a self-proclaimed “Medium.” We at WBC have picketed outside of that white elephant, TPAC, for 23 years and we’ve seen all the crowds large and small. The crowd of Topekans that flocked into this Medium’s “show” was among the biggest ever at TPAC. There was religious fervor about them—like Muslims on pilgrimage to the black rock of Mecca or like Catholics walking on their knees up the steps of the Scala Sancta in Rome. Cussing WBC all the way.
Theresa Caputo says she is a Long Island “Medium”… we think she is at least a large.
Seriously, a medium is a person thought to have the power to communicate with the spirits of the dead or with agents of another world or dimension.
This obsession this country has with “mediums” is epidemic.
Medium is a fancy word for a witch. The Bible condemns such heathen customs in the strongest language possible: Leviticus 19:31 “ Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 20:6: “And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.” Leviticus 20:27: “A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.” Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”
Historic Christiandom recognizes God’s eternal hatred for Witches. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, a 1975 movie mocked that Bible truth with a very hilarious scene where they have captured an alleged witch and they all chant: “She’s a witch, burn her!”
There is the exemplar in the Bible of the reprobate who consulted with a “medium’—a witch. King Saul, who had earlier in his life followed the commandment of the Lord and instituted it as the law of the land, and who it is said of him: “had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.” (1 Samuel 28:3), turned in his last dark days, to a “medium”. She was the witch of Endor with whom King Saul sought out in order to try and communicate with the dead. In particular he wanted the witch of Endor to communicate with the dead prophet, Samuel.
Let’s go over to 1 Samuel 28:7-11 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.”
Saul knew he was doomed and it wasn’t long after that, that Saul committed suicide. [1 Samuel 31:1-4]
Saul had the benefit of having the truth preached to him from the prophet Samuel and from his son-in-law, David, but he rejected that truth and he was condemned to seek after a witch with a familiar spirit by the God of eternity and the Father of spirits.
Topekans, also, have had the truth preached to them for 23 years on the streets of this City at the mouth of Westboro Baptist Church. They too are doomed and have turned unto witches who have familiar spirits. They, too, know that it is an abomination and great evil against the Lord. The Bible says that God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7. Be not deceived. God has placed Saul as an example for all to see that those who consult with witches, like Saul, will meet a similar fate.
Every day for 23 years we have warned the citizens of this City of the things that the Lord requires of them. They have violently opposed our preaching and insisted on their sin and the love of their sin. God sees these things and he recompenses you, citizens of Topeka. He has removed from you all love of the truth as revealed in his Scriptures. That is a great curse.
Amos 8:11-12: “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.”
Quite remarkable: water everywhere on the streets of Topeka in the form of our Gospel preaching at WBC, but not one drop to drink for you Topekans who flock to consult with the modern witch of Endor, Theresa Caputo, but hate the words of truth and life at the mouth of God’s servants on the earth.
