I heard you were planning to bring your anti-Christian message of fear and hatred to my home town of Santa Monica, CA so I thought I’d write to say thanks! We already have over two hundred people pledging to make donations to local pro-gay charities (including the club at SMH) for each hour that you picket our school. For each hour you spew your venom in Santa Monica, over $3,000 will be raised for causes that promote the kind of Christian tolerance you despise. I hope you keep it up for a long time!
I never thought your kind of cruelty and arrogance, so completely at odds with the teachings of Jesus, could lead to something good. But the way your evil group has brought the good people of Los Angeles county together has taught me an important message about the power of God’s love over hate. So again, thank you.

Ye do err, not knowing the Scripture, nor the power of God. (Matthew 22:29.) You equivocate on the very important Bible concepts of fear and hatred. The Holy Spirit, through Solomon, stated that the whole proper purpose of a man’s life was to fear God and keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13), and the Proverbs speak that ‘the fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom.’ (Proverbs 9:10.) As for hatred, we speak nothing of the hatred of men, which is merely a base, human passion that you and I might feel. We speak of God’s hatred, which runs throughout the current of the bible (Genesis to Revelation), and is one of His divine attributes. God’s hatred is merely His fixed determination to punish the wicked in hell for their sins. And it is a righteous and glorious attribute. Your goofy, flesh-pandering, Hallmark greeting card, unscriptural perversions of scripture will win you social advantage with other phony Christians and fags (Jude 1:16), but it is nothing but syrupy, clap-trap, maudlin palaver that will take your sorry ass straight to hell. It’s man-made. It’s heresy. It’s the work of your father, Satan that you do. And it won’t go well for you on that great and terrible day (Joel 2:31) – out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh (Luke 6:45) – and you sound like you have no fear of The Lord before your eyes (Romans 3:18).
But we’ll come preach to you. You really need it.
Perhaps The Lord will show mercy unto you (2 Timothy 2:25) and peel back the scales from your eyes and give you a new heart, as he did to Saul of Tarsus – hell-bent to persecute more and more Christians for believing the very doctrines that we believe at Westboro Baptist Church. The Lord changed his heart and he immediately, and fully, embraced his role as a servant and minister unto the very people who he formerly spent his time vilifying. See Acts 9:1-18.
We will warn the children of Santa Monica that their moral compasses have been broken at the hands of their evil parents, preachers and teachers. If you had read the Bible, you would know what great wrong you have done. Deuteronomy 31: 12-13; “Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.”
