The Holy Spirit and prophets of God define what is going on in the earth between the forces of Satan and force of God as nothing less than a full scale raging war.
Yet, the lukewarm, apologetic, sissy, feel good, faux “Christians” in this generation treat our time here as a high society, women’s night out, pinky-out tea party.
Hear the words of the Lord.
Num. 21:12 refers to the battles here on earth as each being written in a book entitled the Wars of the Lord.
2 Tim 2:3-4 Endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him (that is Jesus Christ) who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Tim 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare.
Eph 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle (or war) not (only) against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Re 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.
Re 12:17 And the dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman (the Church), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The fake Christians have no spiritual warfare. They are not hated of this world like Christ said his true followers would be (John 15:18). The fake Christians rule the world and the world loves them.
Do you actually believe you can attain the greatest prize ever given in earth or Heaven, that is a crown of life by: attending church for an hour on Sunday sporadically during the year, bringing a can of beans to the church food pantry, taking a casserole to the church pot luck dinner, participating in the church Easter egg hunt and trunk or treat Halloween event? Really? If you believe that, you believe in a cunningly devised fable. This mold or die doesn’t exist in the Bible.
John the Baptist was murdered. He got his head chopped off because he dared to tell King Herod he was committing adultery with his brother Phillip’s wife – that is the war. Are you going to hazard your life in this spiritual warfare or not, or are you going to play it safe. Mr 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. These dog kennels of churches won’t dare tell their own members not to commit adultery let alone anyone else.
Christ was murdered by the Jews because they departed from the commandments and ways of God and they were not going to have Him to reign over them. And they still will not. Make no mistake about it, the Jews were primarily culpable in the death of Christ (not the Romans) and it says so many times in the New Testament.
Christ says at John 15:19-20 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.
The battle is this: Will you choose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season and esteem the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt or not?
Rev. 7:14 One of the four and twenty elders in the throne room of Christ said these people of God come out of great tribulation.
Acts 14:22 We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
2 Tim 2:12 If we suffer for Christ, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him (blow off the commandments and live for this world and its lusts), he also will deny us.
Potluck dinners and Sunday School are not tribulation. God knows the difference between lip service and life service. God knows the difference between war and tea parties.
When you die you appear before the judgment seat of Christ, totally alone, and receive the things done in the body whether it be good or evil. Therefore knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men. 2nd Cor. 5:10-11. No worldly goods you have accumulated on earth comes forward. You are judged on your spiritual works only. Did you keep the commandments of Christ or not? Do you rightly divide the word of truth or not or did you live for your own lusts?
There is raging war between the Saint and Satan, and that so bloody a one, that the cruelest which ever was fought by men, will be found to be sport and child’s play compared to this. It is a spiritual war, not a history of what was fought many ages past and is now over, or a war fought at the furthest end of the world; but of what now is going on as I speak. The stage whereon this war is fought, is every man’s soul. There is no neutral party in this war (no Switzerland in this war). The whole world is engaged in this quarrel of the covenant (Lev. 26:24-25), either for God against Satan or for Satan against God. Who are you for?
Rev. 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
