DOES GOD REALLY HATE?

A new media campaign has begun this week.  One of the billboards says “Does God Really Hate Anyone?” and it has a picture of a grumpy school girl on it.  This generation pretends that God’s perfect hatred, as announced BY GOD, is open for discussion.  It is not.

God answered that question with a resounding YES! God hates. It is a prefect and righteous part of his character. His determination to send the unrepentant to hell, where their worm shall not die and neither shall their fire be quenched for eternity, absolutely establishes beyond any doubt that God hates.

Jude 14 -15 And Enoch…prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them…of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Your hard speeches surround your hatred of God’s demand that you obey his commandments and his promised vengeance on those that will not obey.

2 Thes. 1:7 – The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God and obey not the Gospel.

The last book of the Bible is The Revelation of Jesus Christ.  It is death, destruction, de-creation and vengeance from one end of it to the other. Billions are dead by the end of that book.

Rev. 21:8  – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers (that is, traffickers in drugs), and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

In the Bible, Isaac’s wife Rebekah, had twin boys (Jacob and Easu). They had the best DNA possible, their grandfather was Abraham and their father was Isaac, both beloved of God.

Rom. 9:11-13  – The children (Jacob and Esau) not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand. Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

God told Rebekah there were two nations in her womb. Esau, stands representatives for all those that deny, reject and disobey God and God hates them for it.

Duet 4:24  For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

In the last few years we have seen the evacuation and destruction of U.S. cities in  Hurricane Katrina and various and sundry wildfires and tornados (New Orleans, Joplin, Greensburg), seen the most costly natural disaster ever in the Japanese earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster; seen the total destruction of Port au Prince, the capital of Haiti and much more. There are now mass shootings almost every week.

A man approached me yesterday while I was putting gas in my car.  I could barely understand him. I finally made out through his mumbled speech that he had received brain trauma in Iraq. I took him to be an Iraq war veteran. He took a folded paper out of his pocket, but he couldn’t make his fingers open it, so he asked me to open it. The paper indicated he had severe seizures.

I asked him what he wanted. He said he wanted a sandwich. I had compassion on him:  I gave him enough money for several meals.  A few minutes later I saw him with a sandwich.

GodSmacks come in so many ways.

Isaiah 59:1 The Lord’s hand is not shortened.

The Lord has given you space to repent but you have repented not. And now he will cast you into great tribulation and give you death (Rev. 2:21-23.)

The “God Loves Everyone” religious model of this generation, which is never found one time in the Bible, fails to explain national and personal catastrophic events that happen every day.  But the wrath and hatred of God explains it perfectly.

Col. 3:6. The wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.

Rom. 12:19 Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Psalm 5:5 – God hates all workers of iniquity.

Yes, God hates.  Flee the wrath to come.  Repent or perish.
