This is just something I struggle with. I Use to go to church and pray…but then I know in my heart that this isn’t my choice because I wish i was attracted to girls so I could have a family. Is God calling me to be celibate and alone as a test of character? How about the attraction- should I just try to advert the thoughts as much as possible? isn’t feeling this a sin on itself? I just don’t understand why God would give up on me because I know myself to be a good kind person.

You are WAY overthinking this, and you must think you are addressing some people who have been living in a cave – get over it already, and read this:

If you have a problem with these facts, you are not going to get ANY sympathy or coddling. To quote a good friend: IT’S TIME TO GET SERIOUS!
