I was wondering if you could tell me what people Jesus was talking about when he spoke of natural born eunuchs.

Greetings Calvin:
The Lord Jesus Christ spoke of three types of eunuchs in Matthew 19:12:
- Those “which were so born from their mother’s womb” (i.e. the “natural born eunuchs,” which do not possess the proper and fit sexual organs for the marriage state from conception; they are born without them, or without functional ones).
- Those which are “made eunuchs of men” (i.e. castrated men; some examples of this kind of eunuch are the prophet Daniel and his three companions, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; see Daniel 1:1-7). [And, see today’s sermon posted later today on www.godhatesfags.com.
- And those who “[make] themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake” (i.e. they choose to be celibate willingly, like the Apostle Paul who was never married; see 1 Corinthians 7:8).
Thanks for writing.
