I am curious, given your stance on dead soldiers and God’s vengeance, and because you clearly believe that the USA is a sinful and vile nation, what reason do you have to still live here? There are many nations, near and far, that you would both, I’m sure, feel better in, and won’t be so hated in. Thank you for your consideration and reply.
The short answer is Kenneth is that this is where God put us. The long answer is that this is where God put us =)
We don’t get to choose were God puts us, but we are commanded to warn our neighbor:
Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
Just as our spiritual forefathers preached to doomed nations, so do we. We will be here just as long as God wants us to be. You can be sure that Noah was told to quit building the ark and leave if he didn’t like fag marriage (and we all know that after God shut the door to the ark the rest of the world died). You can be sure that Lot was told he could just leave Sodom if he didn’t want to join in raping the angels (and we all
know how that one ended once Lot left). The prophets preached to doomed nations. The apostles preached the Word and were beaten and killed for it. They were chased out of towns and brought before judges (sound familiar?) And of course don’t forget that the Jews, after repeated attempts, killed the Lord Jesus Christ over his words. We could go on and on. The pattern of God’s people is clear. They are hated by man for Christ’s sake but that doesn’t change their duty. This doesn’t mean they get to run and hide and quit serving God.
Joh 15:18-21 ¶ If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
What a blessed lot we have! There is no better place to be than with God’s people knowing that you are hated!
Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
We will be here just as long as God has determined. And when our testimony is finished, it’s not going to be pretty.
Thanks for writing! The time is short. All signs lead to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ being imminent. The question to you, is how will you respond when your creator asks why you didn’t redeem the time he gave you by warning your fellow man?
