Dear WBC,
My name is Ken Lockwood and I am the director of Eagle Valley Raptor Center located in Cheney, Kansas. We are rehabbing a Bald Eagle that was shot n December. We plan on releasing it on February 26th in honor of two Wichita Soldiers that were killed in Afghanistan. I know your position on the Soldiers, and I understand you have already been to their funerals. My concerns are that if you show up and there is lots of signs, flags and counter protests, which there would be, it might frighten the Eagle to where it would fly into traffic instead of going the length of the river. So with this in mind I am asking you to respect our National Symbol so she can go back to the wild in a peaceful way.
Sincerely,
Ken Lockwood

Dear Ken Lockwood –
Why would you do this? What does a Bald Eagle have to do with two dead rebels against God?
Those gentlemen that lived their lives, being lied to by every human that came in contact with them, letting them waste away in sin, knowing that God has promised to send such a person to hell for eternity. How can there be any honor for the man that God hates and has dishonored?
This nations destruction is imminent what can a servant of God do when the wrath of God is abiding upon the nation except: TAKE THE SIGN ALREADY!!
Per our practice, we will stand a respectful distance from your pagan worship of the dead festival, but stand we must!
Thank you for writing.
