I’m writing a Grad-School history essay about the First Amendment, and am wondering if you’d be willing to answer some questions on it.
Basically I’m wondering how you feel about the First Amendment (in terms of Freedom of Speech/Assembly), since you’re group obviously is able to carry out its activities because of this right.
I’m also wondering, since you are a group that is not apolitical (you seem to have a very clear idea of what is wrong with America), I’m wondering if you can tell me what your vision of an ideal America is? If your Church was able to hold political power in America, or influence policy, what would your ideal America look like? (re: Religion, laws, war, economy, etc.)
Finally, if Westboro were to hold more political sway in America, would you continue to allow Freedom of Speech?
Thank you very much for your time, and allow me to assure you that this is not a defamatory essay. I am simply studying the limits of Free Speech in America and am using your church as one example of the considerable liberties Americans enjoy.

The First Amendment is the brightest star in the constitutional galaxy! It is the sine qua non of all of our liberties! We LOVE IT! It is a gift to us from our Heavenly Father for these very last hours of the last days of all!
We would have America look exactly like it looks! We would change NOTHING! It is exactly what God has prepared it to be in these last hours, a nation that NEEDS destruction badly! A nation that did not heed the warning of Sodom and worse and more and a nation that is worse than Sodom!
The First Amendment came from God and it will be perfectly in place until the day that God puts it away!
