Don’t hate anyone in your heart for any reason other than that they disobey God. It’s called a perfect hatred because they abhor sin as God does. And it causes the righteous to show their perfect godly love, or charity, which is to warn others that their sins are taking them to Hell. If it’s a personal hatred of any other person, it is ungodly and brutish.
Psalm 139:19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
If you come to this Church and demonstrate that you have saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and bring forth fruits (evidence) appropriate for repentance, we would gladly call you our brother in Christ.
