I am wondering if I can ask specific questions over a certain period of time and eventually either talk to a representative or member of the church itself. I have a few questions here and I am not anticipating specific replies or answers, but my main incentive for starting this journalism project is mainly out of curiosity.
1. What is it that distinguishes the Westboro Baptist Church from other Churches in the United States?
2. What is the overall message the Westboro Baptist Church trying to convey to the American Public?
3. How Many members does the Westboro Baptist Church have?
4. How heavily is the Bible indoctrinated into Westboro Baptist Church members lives?
5. Is the Church singularly based on bloodline/family membership or is any person allowed to join the Church?
6. What is the range of age among church members?
7. What components of the current American society does the Westboro Baptist Church find to be at a fault or incorrect?
8. What does the Westboro Baptist Church do in order to spread these beliefs?

I have researched the Westboro Baptist Church before and it is particularly evident that the church itself has a controversial view-point on contemporary society. I was hoping that by emailing or speaking directly to a representative or member of the church there would be a further developed understanding of the true Westboro Baptists Church and its beliefs.

1. We read and follow the written Word of God. We teach that Word of God to our fellow man. We OBEY!
2. Your disobedience and rebellion; idols and false gods and FILTHY manner of life has you running up to imminent destruction.
3. Exactly the number that God put here, and it is a perfect number.
4. The Bible is the Word of God, we live in it and we walk in it, it is our life!

It is based on obedience to God and an orderly walk, evidencing a pure heart toward God! Christ noting that out of the heart comes forth words and a particular manner of life. If your heart is right toward God and if God has given you a heart to know him, you will evidence that by your words and deeds. They will line up with the Bible and you will love to obey! You will love it all! You will look for, with great eagerness, the return of Christ in great power to execute judgment upon this generation that knows not God and obeys not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our all in all!
It has NOTHING to do with bloodline, and EVERYTHING to do with MERCY! God said:
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Deuteronomy 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
Look how the mercy connects to the OBEY! It is according to the WILL of God! NOT MAN! God owns salvation and the hearts of his creatures.
Romans 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

7. Just their policies of full on, fist-raised rebellion and disobedience to the commandments of God and their proud sin that they fight and die for. The worst of it all being that they teach their children their rebellion and they have brought their imminent destruction onto the scene.
