Field Report to the Funeral of Dylan Reid on October 30, 2010
The Prince of Peace sent His ambassadors to Lamar, Missouri, to hold forth His words of life and truth on the occasion of God abruptly stopping the heart of a 24-year-old while he hid in his fox hole in Iraq-(his heart failed him for fear? Luke 21:26)–whose best friend was killed by the Lord in Iraq; but he did not learn by that gracious token to turn from the crooked path he hath taken and repent and obey His maker. This experience further solidified that our calling and election is sure and that this ministry we have received is from the Lord. For which we give thanks to God the preserver of our life, and we gave thanks to our Advocate with the Father, who ever liveth to make intercession for us, and we give thanks to the Comforter sent from God and His Son to teach us all things and bring to remembrance those things which He has said unto us.
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17.
Lamar, the birthplace of Harry S. Truman, is a typical Doomed american city. Against the clear light of the Bible they have turned away to serve their idols (greed, lust, superstition, etc.) and thereby have driven a huge wedge, or a gulf, between them and their God and therefore He has hidden His face from them. Worse, He has turned His back on them. (Jer 18:17 ” I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.” Note here, Jeremiah had complained that they had turned his back on him: Jer 2:27 “Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us”.) They are the picture of what Isaiah describes in Chapter 59:
1 ¶ Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. 4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. 5 They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. 6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. 7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. 8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
This portrait of them is illustrated in the case of Dylan Reid. They taught him lies from the time he was carried in his mother’s womb about God and what God required of him. They did not teach him that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and to love the wisdom of the Lord more than life. In summary they told him God loves everybody and it is okay to be gay. Whereas God said that he hates all workers of iniquity and that Sodom was set forth as an example of suffering the vengeance of eternal fire for all those that should thereafter live ungodly. With that bejankety, busted-up moral compass they sent him over to the killing fields of Iraq. Now he is dead and being buried. And, instead of repent and turn to God and follow the royal law to love thy neighbor as thyself by warning them about the sin that is taking them to hell; they ratchet up their idolatry. Made a big public display to show their rebellious back-sides in the face of God so as if to say: “Screw You Buddy!”; while they lift their middle finger to him. Thousands of them lined the streets of Lamar wearing their rebel colors: red, white and blue.
Six Ambassadors of Peace came upon the scene of this idolatrous orgy of lies worshipping this dead brute beast and his hateful enablers. We introduced some smell into the place. That savour is the Gospel preached by Westboro Baptist Church: openly, boldly and faithfully. To wit: God Hates Fags; God Hates Fag Enablers; and therefore america is Doomed. (All 310 million of them; from the suckling baby to the oldest fool amongst them.) So, Thank God for Dead Soldiers! And, we trample your bloody u.s. flag in the mire of the street where you have put it. This only relevant Gospel message for this doomed generation has a very distinctive smell to it; the smell is unique and cannot be copied or duplicated to deceive. The goats know the smell and hate it; the sheep love it.
So 1:3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
We delivered that Gospel message and hundreds of thousands are bound by those bands, while they delude themselves into thinking that they can break them. It is going to take forever to wash that taste from their mouth, and they won’t be able to.
Meanwhile, the sheep savor that savour. Yeah, baby; that’s the stuff right there!
PS: This is Yours Truly’s first post-SCOTUS soldier’s funeral picket. What has happened since then? The U.S. federal court has repealed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Therefore, you know I was loving my “Fag Troops” sign. The beauty of that is that we have been telling you that message for well nigh 20 years of our street ministry; that DADT stuff was sop for the Republican hypocrites.
