Questions From A University Lecturer

1) Does WBC approve the use of the KJV translation only? If so, is this because it is the only translation that will EVER be accurate or inspired or because it is currently the only translation that meets your requirements?

We find it to be trustworthy.  We know that the versions like NIV and other current day versions have heavy sodomite influence and other attempts to remove God’s righteous hatred which is his determination to send the unrepentant to hell.

2) I notice that when the men lead prayers, they use KJV language/style.  Is there a reason for this?  Does all prayer have to sound this way? When you engage in private prayer, is a different style acceptable? (I imagine so, provided that the language is respectful, but I want to be sure.)

It seems so very normal.  When I pray I also do.  It is respectful.  When you walk in and live in these words, you tend to use Bible words, they are good and right and you can’t go wrong if you do that.  It is not because we sat and discussed that, but that is the reason I see.  Not by design, but by the matter of fact.

3) If a woman lacks a husband or father (or they are not involved in the church), who does she ask questions to about faith? (I’m going to you, and I hope that’s okay! If not, I assume you’d have let me know by now.)
We are instructed to be ready ALWAYS to give an answer to anyone for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.  God, by the mouth of his servant Peter said that.   We all help each other.  Have you ever set in one of our readings that we have that are not at church?  We have gifts that vary and we have them, well, to the words here, as they are perfect:

Romans 12:1 ¶  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4  For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7  Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

9  Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

10  Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

11  Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12  Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

13  Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

14  Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16  Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

This is FULL of good instruction and words to live by!

4)  According to what principles, if any, do church members contribute to the financial needs of the church?

Tithe – look it up!  That money is NOT our money; it belongs to God!  Offerings – pursuant to what is in your heart!  Our picket ministry would be that!  We pay our own way.  My house pays for our travel for me, my husband our children.  It is a precious gift, this ministry, and it is a thing that we regard as such and many more words about that!  Tithe means 1/10th.  If anyone says any other thing than that, THEY LIE!

5) I’ve read repeatedly that your father was editor of the Washburn Law Review and head of moot court, but I can’t find any credible documentation. Can you confirm?

If you would like to find such confirmation before your eyes, go to the Washburn Law School.  In the lobby area that is by the offices, there are plaques hanging on the walls.  As of the time that all of my siblings went through the Law School, as of THAT date, my dad is the ONLY person ever to go through that law school that was Editor of the Law Journal AND head of the Moot Court team.  I don’t know if he is still alone in that category, but I bet someone knows that.  :~).

6) Does the church have an official teaching on birth control? I gather, from what I’ve heard, that it is prohibited, but what about natural methods of avoiding pregnancy? Are they acceptable? Is the goal to be open to however many children God gives you, or do you have to be more pro-active (for example, making SURE you try for pregnancy during times you are fertile)?

I will tell you about ME, as I know about ME and my husband.  Also, I know about my mom, as she taught me by her words and deeds.  I believe this to be true of all of our families.

The womb business is GOD’s business.  I don’t mess with it.  I don’t try to do anything, I obey these verses:

1 Corinthians 7:3  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

4  The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

5  Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

I do not speak to the issue of the thoughts of the heart and mind about children, I speak to OBEY!  This is what we did/do, and I tell you with no reservation that I am thankful for every child that the Lord my God gave us, I am now, and I was then, and I have always been!  My mom told me words that sound like that as well.  I don’t know of anyone at WBC that has any attitude other then that!

7)  I’ve seen claims that your father has broadcast on Scriptures for America (perhaps in the 1980s?), a white supremacist radio show. Can you confirm this, and, if it’s true, can you explain the choice of venue?

WTH?  What is that? Let me be crystal clear.  Our God holds the keys to the doors of utterance, and HE opens and no man can close and HE closes and no man can open.  If there is such a thing as a white supremacist broadcast, you KNOW we do not traffic in such places, so HOW would we know if we are invited to speak that they are such people.  We obey this:

1Peter 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

If we begin to pick and choose who we will talk to, we will be WRONG!  Christ said to preach this gospel to EVERY creature.  If they are wrong, and they hear words of truth and they repent, YAY, if not, YAY!  Our job is to say the words to everyone.  We don’t research them to see what their particular form of perversion is.  This life is a proving ground, and if we refuse because we don’t want someone to accuse us of a thing, we will be in a lot of trouble!  You yourself can testify to the FACT that in the eyes of this generation, we cannot do anything right.  So how about if we just OBEY and let these chips fall where they must.

8) I’ve read accusations that say that some members of the congregation are espouse Christian Identity theology or are or have been part of Christian Identity groups. Can you confirm this and, if it’s true, explain this? (Or send me their direction.)

WTH #2?!  What does that mean?  What in this world is Christian Identity theology?  As for groups, NO GROUPS!  The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is where we dwell.  Who would have time for this?  What is it?  I will assume that it is something bad because you used the term "accusations."  Inasmuch as I don’t know what this is, I must default to NO!  :~)   Now, with that term “accuse” floating about, I must do two things:  first, I must next send you the parody that we put up last night.  It is a beauty and a keeper and I LOVE that song!  Also, I must give you this verse, so you can connect the dot from my words and the words of the song and your words.  It is good for learning.

Revelation 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren!  He does that in two ways, as long as he has access to the ear of God, he does to God, and his minions do it in this earth!
