I am a reporter from Virginia Tech and I am writing a pre-event story about the Westboro Baptist Church upcoming visit to Virginia Tech. I was hoping to get a few quotes from members of the Church to include in my story. These are my
questions:
1) What is your main goal for picketing at Virginia Tech?
2) How do you expect the events to unfold?

1) To make a final call to all the ears that can hear it! We tell your plainly that the destruction of this nation of disobedient rebels against God is IMMINENT! This land is shortly going to shake, quake, sputter and then vomit, as in SPEW out the inhabitants! THAT is the promise of God to the nation that He would destroy because they have rebelled against Him! You are a nation of traitors against God and his wrath is upon you and there is no turning back this path!
2) Like they unfold at every place in this country now. Remember, we have been on the streets of Doomed america EVERY DAY for 19 years. Every single day! We see the face of this nation and from sea to shining sea it all looks the same! Every child in this nation has been taught that God is a liar and that his commandments are on the table for disposal AT THEIR WILL! Now God has fulfilled his promise found here:
Jeremiah 13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be . good for nothing. (See Jeremiah 13:1-10 for the full text of that curse, but this is the bottom line!)
So we will get to the place and we will whip out the signs and we will say the words and the rebels at Virginia Tech and Blacksburg, VA will rant and rave and get their fury on and their blah, blah, blah on, all as a horrible substitute for simply OBEYING the commandments of God! God says – I only want ONE THING from you – OBEY ME!
Your destruction is IMMINENT! It will be marvelous and amazing! I say to you what Isaiah said to Doomed Israel – WHY should you be stricken more and more? You just revolt more and more! This nation from head to toe is sick, sick, sick – full of deadly, oozing, running, open cancerous sores and you haven’t even put on a stinking band aid! It just all hangs out!
That is what we will see. A pack of clueless, hapless, hopeless, sorry, sad children who have been lied to all their lives. They have drilled more holes in their heads and other body parts than one can keep track of and have tattooed and colored and nipped and tucked and done everything imaginable except OBEY THEIR GOD!
Ec 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
