You Are Put To Open Shame As You Dismantle Your Laws And Rules Trying To Harm WBC … How’s That Working For You?

[Ed:  This is a juicy letter to the editor of one of the Kansas papers trying without success to make sense of the Kansas judicial system.  The context here is that the Kansas Court of Appeals, joining its perverse judicial sisters, has decided that while the taxing authority broke the law – indeed, violated the Constitution of Doomed amerca – in taxing WBC church property, well, um, er, uh … they’ll go on ahead and let the decision stand because someone somewhere may have a political thought associated with a WBC picket – thus, voila, the picketing activity is not exclusively religious.

Now this is hilarious, and here’s why:  We are going to stand up and look you clods square in the eye, and MAKE YOU OBEY YOUR OWN RULES.  You will NOT be allowed to dismantle all of your much-touted and creature-worshiped "freedoms" and "constitutional protections" in a dark corner.  We’re going to call you out and expose your hypocrisies and your folly and your perversion … and we’re going to make you an open shame for all to see.  That’s just the way we roll, by the grace and mercy and lovingkindness of the LORD our God, to whose service we are happily addicted.  :D ]

In the story you ran on WBC’s picket-sign-toting truck, you referenced the fact that BOTA targeted 260 of WBC’s signs to say they were not religious, because of words like whore and pervert (both great Bible words).  You forgot to tell your readers that the Kansas Court of Appeals specifically said this holding by BOTA violated the Establishment Clause.  It’s not the government’s job to tell people how to serve God.

That should have been where the opinion ended.  It’s wrong to treat as a light thing a taxing authority violating the Establishment Clause.  There should be a consequence.  But that standard is eroding in this nation at lightening speed.  Any government official who wants to trample the First Amendment today – have at it.  This nation will cast off that blessing from God in pursuit of its sins.  This is a nation that has forgotten God and obeys not his standard.  This nation is in terrible distress, and has lost any standing to turn to God for help.  What a mess!

Sadly, the Court of Appeals turned around and did the same thing BOTA did.  Saying BOTA’s ruling was wrong, the Court went on to say, "never mind," we can find another reason to uphold the denial of the exemption.  (You had to see that coming ladies and gentlemen.)

The Court’s ultimate ruling is since the WBC picketers refer to people who are politicians or government officials, that makes their words partly political.  That means every preacher in this state is in jeopardy of having the tax exempt status of his church removed.

Unless you completely ignore the Bible, you have to talk about current events, which sometimes include politicians or government officials.  That’s because the mores and behaviors of a nation are manifested through its leaders, of all kinds, including politicians and government officials.  This pattern of speaking to leaders of all kinds, on current events, is found in the prophets, apostles, John the Baptist and Christ.

BOTA and the courts would have taxed the donkey John the Baptist rode to go tell Herod it was wrong for him to have his brother’s wife.  (Divorce and remarriage is wrong.  You don’t hear that in the pulpits any more.)  That’s why they took off his head.  Undoubtedly they said a lot of words as they did it about how that didn’t really violate their laws.

You know perfectly well that if these signs said things like "God bless Bush" (you have to choke just writing those words), or "God loves Sebelius" (another choker), we wouldn’t be having this discussion, and there never would have been a case before the Court of Appeals.

Of course the media mutts and lying preachers believe this new law was created just for WBC, and that they’re safe with all the lying filth and nonsense they churn out.  That’s probably true.  But they all still have a duty to hold this nation to its own laws, and to the standards and commandments of God.  It won’t go well for the media mongrels or the false prophets, when they appear on that Great and Terrible Day of Judgment to give an answer for why they failed in their duty.  The blood of all the unrighteous around them will be on their hands (read Ezekiel 33).

The siege is upon you.  Fear God and keep his commandments; the hour of his coming draws nigh.  Magormissabib.
