That mother lacks understanding! When God killed Naomi’s sons:
And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. Ruth 1:20
Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer….their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. Hosea 9:13-16
The womb business is God’s business and God ALONE holds the breath of life! That mother had NO INTENTION of raising those babes, those gifts from God, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord her God.
