Each year God uses His weapons in the weather to smack you-like crude beasts you won’t take correction!
Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD. In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion. Jeremiah 2:29-30
These adumbrations are acts of great mercy and kindness. Look at the desolation and hear ye the rod and He that sent it! If you are reading this, God has still left you alive-you can still repent, mourn for your sins, and obey!
