Beast should have said like King Solomon: Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? 2 Chron. 1:10.
The new/different you need is great shame and mourning that makes you see/put away sin. You can’t.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished, 2 Pet. 2:9.
It’s a great mercy to be delivered out of temptation, and a great curse to be reserved unto the day of judgment.
