There is a sure promise from God in the Bible-if you disobey him, and give yourself the glory instead of worshiping the Creator-he will give you over to vile affections.
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections. (Rom 1:25-26).
(Affections = affliction of the mind; depraved and vile passions.) The dime-a-dozen Mississippi dyke pushing for bringing her girlfriend to the prom is the new media darling; the whole nation is infatuated with her.
