Universal fag marriage dominates the headlines. The de-creation of this human race by war, famine, and pestilence, all of which the Avenger of the Quarrel of the Covenant, our Lord Jesus Christ, plagues society with, in just recompense for that ultimate smash-mouthed insult to God—fag marriage–also dominates the headlines. Which naturally brings me to my video news subject: The Love of Westboro Baptist Church. “WBC Love Fest” is a sign you will frequently see during our public ministry on the streets of this nation. It comes from many Bible verses, including the following:
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
What is this “Charity”? The greek word there is “love” and the “love” there is two-fold. First, and foremost: Love of God, which love is supernaturally implanted in the elect of God by a sovereign God who has mercy on whom he will have mercy. As the necessary result of the gift of love implanted in any man or woman from Almighty God as administered by the eternal spirit [Hebrews 9:14]; and, the second type of love is objectively manifested in those that have been gifted with the first love, to wit: love of their fellow man, especially towards their co-elect.
Objectively manifest love means that the evidence and findings based on the evidence are not influenced by personal feelings, interpretations, or prejudice; but are based on facts; unbiased; which facts are readily perceived by the eye or the understanding; evident; obvious; apparent; plain.
We put before you for your examination the following proposition: The ministry of the Westboro Baptist Church—where we have taken to all forums that are available to insist upon faith in the imputed righteousness and work of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal salvation, and obedience to His word, especially his eternal moral laws, and to otherwise maintain and defend pure Gospel truth: the doctrines of grace, the absolute sovereignty of God, the sure and certain judgment of the Judge of the all the Earth by that man whom the Lord hath ordained and given evidence of his qualifications and credibility in that he has raised him from the dead, by frequent reference to that example which is set forth in Holy Writ of Sodom and Gomorrah which is expressly provided for pursuant to the plain statement in Jude 7: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire”–is that objective manifest love to God and man spoken of by the Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians Chapter 13. Have that testimony in the earth and you too can claim you love God and man. If not, please do not open your mouth about love.
You can have the gift of prophecy, and some say that WBC has prophesied, for example, we told you starting at least 23 years ago that nation-wide and world-wide fag marriage was a fait accompli. French for “an accomplished fact”. That is a gift from God and an extraordinary one—to prophecy. To have revealed to you in a notable manner the mind of God on a matter about things to come. We saw with the eyes of faith that since there was a universal departure from fundamental Christian doctrine called the sovereignty of God, that the inevitable and inescapable result (as illustrated in Romans Chapter 1 and other places) that fags would rule the landscape. And we declared that it—this universal rule of fag marriage and all that imports in departing from the Living God–is a just recompense of reward for your intentional, flagrant rejection of the most fundamental truths of God, His Sovereignty, that you will be given over to a reprobate mind so that you cannot think clearly or rightly about anything. Therefore, fags marry and you rejoice. That is the work of God in your miserable lives; and we say, Amen!
But that gift of prophesy is nothing if we have not this love. This gift of love towards God and man excels all of those extraordinary gifts. When asked what is the first and greatest commandment, Jesus said:
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 23:37-40)
It is manifestly objective love for WBC to tell you plainly and straightly in this present environment of universal apostasy, much like the environment that Elijah found himself facing, that “Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.” (Romans 11:2-7). In other words, we tell you “God loves his elect.” And we tell you the other side of that coin, “God hates the reprobate.” And, that that determination by a sovereign God—elect and reprobate–was made before the elect or the reprobate were born, and neither having performed good or evil, so it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (Romans 9).
We didn’t arrive at this knowledge, this understanding of the mysteries of God, and this courage to speak the truth to power by our own merit; but they are gifts from the Father of Lights [James 1:17], communicated by the Spirit of Truth [John 15:26]. Furthermore, we have been granted saving faith and that faith has caused to believe the record that God has given of his Son [1 John 5:10-11]. But, though I “understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.” [1 Corinthians 13:2] We are nothing if we do not have the love of God and love that flows therefrom for our fellow man. “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” [1 John 5:3] “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” [1 John 2:5]
“If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.” (James 2:8).
And where did this doctrine originate? It was first articulated by the Lord Jesus Christ in Holy Writ at Leviticus 17:18-19, and there you can find the practical meaning of the expression, “Love Thy Neighbour,” to wit:
“Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.”
Did you hear that? The objective evidence that you love your neighbor is that you will in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him…thou shalt not avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people. Those things are intimately wrapped up in the working definition of loving thy neighbor. That is the love spoken of in 1 Corinthians 13. That is the love that WBC servants have manifest towards their fellow man alive with us on the earth. This love has burned hot for these many decades, in that we have been granted the grace wherein we arrange our affairs and expend our resources and energies so that we are available to deliver a message of obedience and love and faith towards God and His Son and His Holy Spirit, by word and deed. And this we gladly do in the face of fierce opposition, resentment, hatred, and opprobrium. If you loved the Lord your God you would gladly and readily obey his word and love correction from his preachers.
In any event, we are privileged to stand with David and say these things truthfully:
Ps 35:19 “Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.” Ps 69:4 “They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully.” Ps 109:3 “They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.” Ps 119:78 “Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.” Ps 119:161 “SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.”
You should be grateful for the ministry of Westboro Baptist Church. It is a token of love from the Father of lights [James 1:17] towards a generation of unthankful. Paul told of these days in his second letter to Timothy: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be … unthankful.” (2 Timothy 3:1-2).
“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17).
