In Jude 7 There Is No Talk Of Sodomite Love Or Sodomite Civil Rights; Just The Right To Suffer The Vengeance Of Eternal Fire

This week the U.S. Supreme Court took up the issue of gay marriage.  51% of Americans now support gay marriage in the latest national polls and it is growing at such an astounding rate pollsters can’t believe it.  They have never seen anything like it.

This is not a social issue or a legal issue for the Supreme Court to rule on, this is a spiritual issue and an issue of creation.  God has already ruled and decided the issue of same sex marriage.

Jude 7 is decisive on the issue.  Jude was the cousin of our Lord Jesus Christ and a trusted apostle, thus fitting him in the category of Holy Men that Peter says were moved by the Holy Ghost to tell us the mind of God. This is what he says:  “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh (homosexuality), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

There is no talk of sodomite love or sodomite civil rights; just the right to suffer the vengeance of eternal fire.  Jesus Christ states that marriage is between a male and a female at Mat. 19:4-5.  Christ said: “Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,  And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” How can you be any clearer than that – marriage is between a male and a female.

At Luke 17:26-30, our Lord Jesus Christ said:  “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

The Lord Jesus Christ has already decided this issue and there are no appeal rights.  He is not going to apologize to Noah’s world that perished in the flood of waters; and he is not going to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

We watch for the events in our generation that show the time is nigh when our dear Lord will return to this earth in flaming fire with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgment on this disobedient world (Jude 14-15). Amen.
