Dear Julia,

Thank you for sending your letter dated November 25, 2014; we are happy to answer any queries you or anyone else may have pertaining to our ministry.

Before answering your questions, it is necessary to understand what it is to love someone as it is defined by the Bible:

“Thou shalt not hate they brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.” (Leviticus 19:17)

By this definition, we have for the past twenty years been the only ones to truly love our neighbors. We have done this by warning this world that if you continue to live in blatant defiance against the standards of God, you will suffer the damnation of hell. Also, it’s not our hatred that we are on the streets everyday professing; it’s God’s hatred. God is the one who set the commandments in place for humans to follow, and he’s the one who will punish those who disobey them in hell for all eternity. We are simply the messengers, doing what the Lord requires of us as enumerated in Ezekiel 3:18-19.

While it is true that “God is no respecter of persons” (Acts 10:4), there is a difference between a person’s immutable characteristics, and his/her manner of life. You aren’t judged for your skin color or your gender: you’re judged for the deeds that you sow in this life. Homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-28, Genesis 19:22, and Luke 19), plain and simple. By denying this truth, you also deny the God who made it. As to your next question; our directive isn’t to save people, but to warn them. Whether or not they repent and seek after God’s word afterwards is not up to us, but to the Lord (John 6:44). As stated above, we do not hate our brothers, but love them through our warnings that “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3)

As for your comments on how we should raise our children, we also rely on the bible for this as well, to wit:

“And, ye fathers provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4)

We do this by teaching our children the commandments of God as instructed by him in his book. However, if they come of age and decide they no longer believe these doctrines, then they are free to leave.

There is no professing to be a believer of Christ while you simultaneously break one of the commandments that he set forth. “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:4). Also, when you say that you would like God to “look past a little lesbian label,” you are not only asking God to change the standard that he proclaimed from eternity past, but you are also asking that God himself change; all of this to fit your notions of what’s right and wrong (Revelation 22:18-19, Malachi 3:6). Also, remember the word of God in, to wit:

“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” (1 Corinthians 4:7)

For you to deliberately disobey the commandments, in light of all the things that God has given you, makes you a thankless traitor; and if you don’t repent, hell comes next.

I hope this adequately answered all the questions you had. Please feel free to reply with any additional questions you may have.
