Westboro Baptist’s Response To “God Loves Gays” Crowdfunded Billboard; Email To @Mashable

Hi WBC,

I’m writing a story about the crowd-funded “God Loves Gays” billboard that will go up in Topeka on 9/8.

Campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/god-loves-gays-billboard-project

Wanted to know if you have an official response we can quote in the article, and if you plan to protest the site of the billboard when it’s unveiled.

Thanks for your response.

Hi Matt Silverman –

What does Westboro Baptist Church say about the God Loves Gays billboard going up on this very day?!

  1. Thank God for that lying billboard!  Every soul that sees it will either rejoice for the lie and the vain hope of afflicting the servants of God at WBC. OR, they will sigh and mourn for that awful sin and all the parts of it, knowing that every single soul that weighed in with money or words, in favor of that lying billboard, will stand before God in the Judgment, so very ashamed.  Knowing also, that when they stand before God in the judgment, it will be TOO LATE for repentance, and eternal torment will follow.
  2. Thank God for that lying billboard!  Every soul that sees it will be thinking…THIS is the home of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the ax is laid to the root of the tree, where the Word of God ROARS across the globe, uninhibited and daily!  Their minds will go to the rock solid truth of the matter: God hates fags!
  3. Thank God for that lying billboard!  It is a thankful and blessed harbinger of the coming of our Lord in great power to execute judgment upon all and to convince ALL of the ungodly deeds and their ungodly speeches, which ungodly sinners have spoken!  I say, we hasten to that day! ALL of which confirms the words of our dear Lord Jesus Christ!  YAY!
  4. Matthew 16:26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Any money that people paid … was it worth their never-dying soul?

That’s what comes to mind first.  If there is anything else we can tell you, please ask.

Thanks for writing.
