Adam Hills’ Pants Are On Fire!

Repent Hell Is Eternal

Recently, an Australian comic named Adam Hills threw a hissy fit about Westboro Baptist Church’s preachments regarding the demon-possessed pervert, Robin Williams. In the middle of his rant, he promised to buy first class airplane tickets for each member of Westboro Baptist Church so we could fly to Iraq and picket.  Instead, he backed out and decided to make a big show of donating the money to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

We live in a world where works righteousness is the rule of the day. You think you can work your way to heaven, and you seek to please men and glorify yourself. Wicked people think that they can give some money to a charitable cause, do their good deed for the day, and cover up their monstrous lies and sins against God.   You perverse people have turned this into your new religion, rather than doing what God commands. “Yeah, we’ll go commit sodomy, adultery, murder a few unborn babies. We don’t need Jesus to save us. We’ll just give a few bucks to St. Jude’s and we’ll be alright.”

You idiots can’t do anything right! Even a relatively decent act like helping sick children, you have perverted by turning into a glorification of yourself. And even more perversely, in this particular case, the only reason you parted with any of your money was not for any good cause, but out of spite and hatred towards the truth of God preached by Westboro Baptist Church. Listen. You are corrupt. You lack the ability to do good things for good reasons.

“A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”  (Matthew 7:18-19)

You should be helping people by giving alms, but you shouldn’t be doing it in the sanctimonious way that you have been doing it, where you seek the approval and glory of men. Here is what Jesus Christ says about that:

“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.” (Matthew 6:1-4)

The illnesses that the children at St. Jude’s are facing are nothing compared to the danger to their eternal souls that they will find in the soul-damning words and examples of the likes of Adam Hills and Robin Williams. Indeed, it would be far better for them to die as children than to grow up and follow the path of these evil men.  It would be far more beneficial to their little souls to give them some of the Words of God “for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”  (Proverbs 4:22)  While we’re talking about St. Jude’s, maybe warn them about wicked men, like Jude tells us:

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities….And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.” (Jude 7-8, 14-16)

Now, back to the tickets to Iraq that Adam Hills promised. He made an oath before God and everyone that he would purchase these tickets, and he reneged on the oath, so the least he could do is stop being so stingy with his money. We have, in fact, already gone to picket in Iraq. The last time we went, we flew into Amman, Jordan and drove the rest of the way. Now, assuming that you would want us out of the country tout suite, I’m looking for the soonest flight out of Topeka, KS to Amman, Jordan. That happens to be next weekend, and the cheapest ticket I can find is $2,510.70.  Let’s use 75 as a nice round number of people who attend Westboro Baptist Church. If I’m doing my math right, that comes to $188,302.50. You can’t pay your way out of hell, Adam Hills, but you ought to put your money where your big mouth is. Cough up the full amount to St. Jude’s.

Amen.
