We May Be Small and We’re Certainly Not Fancy – But We DO Have The Truth Of God! #Winning #ThankGod

You can no more ignore the daily preachments of this little church than the people could ignore John the Baptist in his time.

Regarding John the Baptist, Jesus asked a big crowd “What went ye out into the wilderness to see?  A reed shaken in the wind?”  (Luke 7:24).

Jesus then followed that rhetorical question with this:  “But what went ye out to see?  A man clothed in soft raiment?  Behold, they who are gorgeously appareled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.  But what went ye out to see?  A prophet?  Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.”  (Luke 7:25-26).

For close to a quarter-century, the people of this world have come to see and hear WBC.  Her message has been strong and consistent.  There’s no shaking in the wind; no moist finger in the air testing which way the wind is blowing.  No compromise.  Repent or perish.

There is nothing sophisticated – from a worldly standpoint — about WBC members.  No fancy clothes (just this nice WBCSays t-shirt — see above photo).  We don’t live fancy lifestyles and rub elbows with the rulers of this world.  Indeed, WBC is hated world-wide.

But you know that.  So what draws you to these words?  I’ll tell you.  This church gives you the truth of God, and deep down you know it’s so.  WBC is a shining light in this dark world.  WBC is the salt of this earth, preserving it until the final destruction.

Oh Yes!  You can no more ignore the daily preachments of this little church than the people could ignore John the Baptist in his time.  “In those days came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea . . . .  Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about the Jordan.”  (Matthew 3:1, 5).

That’s akin to saying this:  “Then went out to hear WBC’s gospel preaching New York City (America’s largest city), and all of the United States, and the countries round about the United States.”

A whole lot of people were drawn to the powerful preaching of John the Baptist.  Even more are drawn to the preachments of WBC.  And it’s all a powerful work of Almighty God in these final days.

Amen!
