Welcome friends, to another edition of WBC Video News, where the Servants of God diligently seek to discern the signs of the times and deliver to you an unvarnished view of world events from a Bible perspective.
Let us today examine one of the issues that has been filling the headlines for several days now with vitriolic hyperbole and much hand-wringing – that is, the flood of illegal unaccompanied minors which have been pouring into this country since late last year from all over Central and South America.
In case you have been living under a rock, I’ll bring you up to speed. Since October of last year, close to 60,000 unaccompanied minors have been flooding into the country illegally. Many are brought into the U.S. by so-called ‘coyotes’, people who smuggle them across the border in various ways for exorbitant amounts of money. In many cases families sending their children to the U.S. in this manner literally sell themselves into slavery to pay for their child or children to be brought into this country.
It is a sad state of affairs when viewed from any angle. Many of these children are being sent from increasingly violent situations in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala where the drug trade has basically turned those nations into giant gang-run barrios – a drug trade I should add, that flourishes only because of American gluttony and excess. Many are simply fleeing from acutely impoverished conditions, where even a life on the streets of this wretched nation begging for scraps looks like a move on up to the East Side in comparison. There are stories of illness and violence beginning to spread amongst the children in detention facilities awaiting deportation hearings or placements. It is a grim scene reminiscent of the worst Sally Struthers commercial.
So we have a flood of humanity entering into our nation, crossing borders illegally in the hopes of attaining to a better life, more stability, and less fear. We have tens of thousands of children traversing thousands of miles alone or with strangers who have no care for them, away from their families, going to a place where they do not speak the language, potentially and probably have no known relations, pursuing this warped view that America is a place of equality, charity, and outpouring love for all humanity. Incredibly, they think the following words actually have meaning:
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. “Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
For the benefit of you who are utterly ignorant of history, those are the words of Emma Lazarus’ poem New Colossus, which is inscribed on a plaque placed inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, the standing symbol of this nation’s invitation to the citizens of the world that if you seek liberty, if you seek freedom, if you seek opportunity, these shores are the one place in all the shores of the world where you will find those things. These children, pushed out the front doors of the meager homes they were born in, flee to this nation seeking those grand ideals from this so-called Mother of Exiles.
On the streets of this nation daily, the WBC hears, literally EVERY SINGLE DAY, about so-called love, kindness, charity, brotherly affection, and every warped sense of what you people think Bible love is. EVERY DAY!!! We know firsthand how you pipe about that most Biblical of concepts and demean our daily sacrifice to you as hateful. Here, America, you have an opportunity to show the world your wonderful notion of love! Your unabashed sense of charity and kindness. Here are thousands of children in need of clothes, food, beds to restfully sleep in, medical care, and some of your so-called love, and what are you doing? On the one hand, you have the Master Manipulator Obama, using the plight of these ragamuffin children to his political advantage, using this new shiny object to detract from the fact that his illegal, lax and purposeful refusal to uphold the laws of this nation in regard to immigration has created this mess and spawned the massive growth of the so-called ‘coyote economy’. On the other hand, you have the xenophobes in Murrieta California illegally standing in the road to block busses of children from coming into their community under the guise that they don’t want their tax dollars spent caring for the children. That’s right, in CALIFORNIA, where they have no problem using their tax money to push fag marriage down the throat of the entire nation, they don’t want their tax money buying a Happy Meal for some starving kid from Guatemala!
Granted, these children are entering the nation illegally, and simply ignoring that fact isn’t really an option, except that is PRECISELY what Obama has been doing his entire administration, turning his attention to pushing fag marriage everywhere, increasing the availability of federally funded abortion, keeping the country locked in hopeless and endless wars, and doing everything he can to create anarchy and chaos in this country. And I remind you that the violence many of these children are fleeing is directly caused by the wanton abuse of drugs in this country!
What a mess! “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy” (Ps 82:3). That simple edict would never cross the minds of one of you Bible-illiterate haters of God in this situation. This is a simple problem that this nation has created, and this nation has the resources to solve if it would stop worrying about and spending those resources working to convince every other nation in the world to kill their unborn children and to worship fag filth!
This whole incident is a sad, disgusting sign of the decay of this nation, another clear indicator of the spiral of death toward destruction this nation is on, that such an obvious opportunity to demonstrate charity and compassion to these poor souls is instead used to push and pursue petty greed and political agendas. “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Pr. 14:34). Doctor John Gill expounds this so well I feel compelled to quote him here
“Administered by the government [that is righteousness], and exercised by subjects towards one another; doing justice between man and man: this exalts a nation, as it did the people of Israel, while practised among them; this sets a people above their neighbours, and high in the esteem of God and men; and is attended with privileges and blessings, which make a nation great and honourable……where vice reigns, iniquity abounds, profaneness, impiety, and immorality of all sorts prevail, a people become mean and despicable”
Mean and despicable indeed! From “send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me” to “get outta here you diseased rat”. That is America today.
Mother of Exiles, indeed! Mother of whoredoms and faggotry is more like it, who snuffs out her lamp in a vain attempt to hide from the Lord the abominations done in her sight. Dyke Liberty is her name, and is indeed the standing symbol of what this nation stands for, and this incident is a great example of how far this nation has sunk.
