You Can’t Answer “What WOULD Jesus Do?” Without Answering “What DID And What WILL Jesus Do?”

The Lord Jesus Christ told us to remember ONE person: Lot's wife. Come on phony Christians, ask yourselves: WHY?

The Lord Jesus Christ told us to remember ONE person: Lot’s wife. WHY? Because she was turned into a pillar of salt for being a fag-enabler when Jesus Christ was destroying Sodom! Remember her, America!

For everyone out there who has any interest in their never dying soul – for everyone out there who thinks of themselves as ‘Christian’ – please pause this video right now and go round up everyone who you are currently close to who professes a similar interest in Jesus so that they can watch this too – I’ll wait – this is pretty important. Okay.

I’m not going to hate on you if you have ever uttered the phrase “What Would Jesus Do?” I’m not going to hate on you for wearing a “What Would Jesus Do” Bracelet. In the abstract, it’s a very earnest motive to ask oneself what the mind of Christ is on any matter, that we may emulate that mind in obedience to Christ. But many, if not all of you, utter that question without any serious regard for what Jesus has done and will do. In other words, you can’t really answer the question posed on the armband – What Would Jesus Do” without answering the questions: What DID Jesus Do? And What WILL Jesus do?

There is a pretty fundamental misunderstanding promulgated by phony Christians (who are, in fact, ministers of Satan) that the God of the Old Testament is somehow different from the God of the New Testament – that the God of the Old Testament was a God of wrath and anger, while the God of the New Testament is a God of love and mercy. Those who cling to or further this false dichotomy do err, not knowing the scripture. Consider John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

The Word is one of the names that God gives to himself – specifically that person of the triune God who is also referred to as Jesus Christ and the God the Son. In case there are any who don’t immediately make the connection that the Word is referring to Christ, consider the scripture again at John 1: 14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Lord Jesus Christ was there from the very beginning – before the foundations of the world. So, for you Old Testament / New Testament dichotomists – it was the Lord Jesus Christ who was walking in the garden in the cool of the day in Gen. 3 and called Adam and Eve out for their disobedience – banning them from the garden, and clothing them with skins gotten after showing them the pattern for sacrifice for sin. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who was the fourth figure in the burning fiery furnace of Nebuchadnezzar, protecting those three jewish boys from the wrath of the king. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who wrestled with Jacob in the desert all night, and and It was the Lord Jesus Christ who Destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah – raining fire and brimstone down from heaven – every little baby, every old man – utterly destroyed for the wholesale societal acceptance of sexual perversion – most notably homosexuality. Jesus Christ destroyed Sodom. This is all Old Testament stuff, and the appearance of Christ in each of these instances  is referred to as a Christophany – or the appearing of Christ prior to the virgin birth recorded in New Testament scripture.

It was also the Lord Jesus Christ who, amidst all of the preaching and warning against sin that he did during his 3.5 year ministry on this earth prior to being hanged on a tree, dying for all of the sins of some of the men, warned us to Remember Lot’s Wife. This the only person, in all of Christ’s glorious preaching , who we were specifically commanded to remember. Christ never said, Remember Pontius Pilate, or Remember Nicodemus, or Remember the Virgin Mary (though all of them appeared in scripture and so certainly bear relevance on our seeking to know, and emulated, the mind of God in all matters. He said ‘Remember Lot’s Wife,’ and the only time that she appears in scripture is as a player in the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. In that blessed, sobering bit of His-story,

Escape for thy life; look not behind thee…lest thou be consumed.

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; and he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

John Gill on this verse: this destruction was brought upon them by Jehovah the Son of God, who had appeared to Abraham in an human form, and gave him notice of it, and heard all he had to plead for those cities, and then departed from him to Sodom, and was the author of this sad catastrophe; this amazing shower of fire and brimstone was rained by him from Jehovah his Father, out of heaven.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

But consider WHY is Lot’s wife, who is never named but the old scholars suggest that her name is Ilith or Edith, the one person specifically separated out by the Lord Jesus Christ, for us to remember. She wasn’t a DYKE – she was Lot’s wife – and presumably the wife of his covenant – the wife of his youth. She wasn’t from the same place as Lot – she was a hometown girl – she was from Sodom, and Lot met her once he and Abram separated – Lot going toward the south to seek sufficient grazing land and water for his considerable flocks. When Lot and his wife, and their two daughters, were commanded to flee the wrath and not turn back, Lot’s wife just couldn’t couldn’t help herself but to look back – I mean…those people were her friends, her colleagues, her neighbors, her family – they were all good people – they were nice to her, they were familiar – but they were all rebels before God when you analyze them in terms other than simply the flesh. Otherwise, what would there have been to run from? There would not have been fire and brimstone without the rampant disobedience. But in Lot’s wife’s mind, her affinity for these people, while all living in stark rebellion against God, overtook the clear commandment that she had been given, and therefore her mind and heart were pulled toward them, and she turned in her desire for their company, and their mutual admiration society, and was destroyed herself. Because she thought – it’s okay to be gay – it’s not so bad. She enabled that sin and didn’t place it firmly in her mind as the vile, abominable sin that it was IN THE ESTIMATION OF GOD ALMIGHTY.

It is an oft-used and amongst the most specious of all arguments, concerning the nature of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he never preached against homosexuality. In fact, just today, there is an argument in the Advocate (a prominent fag publication), called ‘Letter to Pope: Protect LGBT Youth,’ where the writer, Carl Siciliano, without shame, uses that goofy, ill-conceived reasoning in an appeal to Pope Frank, writing: Jesus Christ is never recorded as having said a word in judgment or condemnation of homosexuality or of LGBT people.” You dumb, satanic, worker of iniquity, you: Jesus Christ is THE VERY LORD who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone out of heaven, specifically for wholesale societal acceptance of sexual perversion, most notably homosexuality. And it was the Lord Jesus Christ who, in all of his preaching, only told us specifically to remember one person – that being Lot’s wife. Hello, advocate dumbasses – hello – Metropolitan Community Whorehouses – hello, all people everywhere who profess to be Christians – Lot’s wife only appears in one incident in the Bible – that of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah for a sin so vile, that all practitioners of that filth, after the destruction of those great cities, were referred to as SODOMITES – its where we get the name for that filthy sin. So, the Lord Jesus is telling us, don’t be a rebellious enabler of, or have an affinity for, those who commit, and are proud, open notorious practioners of, that filthy sin. How’s that for some new testament preaching against homosexuality? Anyone who reads that sobering commandment of Christ, Remember Lot’s wife, any other way, is a liar and there is no sincerity in them.

What Did Jesus Do? He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah

What Will Jesus Do? Return triumphantly to destroy all those who have been foreordained to that condemnation.

What Would Jesus Do? He’s doing it right now – preaching to you through the humble servants of God at Westboro Baptist Church.

Amen.
