Last week, the 24 hour news cycle was full of endless, mindless chatter about a football player from the University of Missouri named Michael Sam. Sam is 24 years old, and recently completed his senior season at MU, where he was rather successful, and was just named the SEC co-defensive player of the year. He hopes to be drafted in April, to play in the NFL. His draft prospects are marginal – he is undersized as defensive ends go in the NFL, and is projected as a late round draft pick – a risky pick, that will likely only stick by playing outstanding on special teams. So, what’s the story, you might ask? Well – Michael Sam made a genius PR move, and announced to the world that he’s a fag. Well played, Sir! Michael craftily discerned the zeitgeist of this sodomite nation, and saw opportunity knocking. He just guaranteed himself the kind of cash and celebrity that his talent wouldn’t otherwise have garnered. He was immediately crowned as a hero – the first out of the closet fag to play in the NFL! Anyone in the NFL who would say ANYTHING against him is swiftly, publicly being vilified. Perhaps the biggest genius of it all, is that once his short NFL career is over, he can fall back on the inevitable book deals and made for TV movies that will be made to lionize his filthy self. People immediately compared him to Rosa Parks and Jackie Robinson … Seriously? Not only did those two have a righteous cause, which Michael most assuredly does not, but Rosa actually risked something – Jackie actually had talent! I digress.
Representatives of this humble little church drove to the University of Missouri on Saturday in order to stand peacefully on the public sidewalks and preach a little truth about this matter. The godless, rudderless young people of MU gathered together by the thousands to form a human wall, so as to block us, don’t you know. This is a story that has played out at many of our protests – rally the troops, form a wall, line up the flags, rev your engines, assault, batter, just make them shut up! You despise your Creator, his perfect standard, and his righteous judgments, and therefore you hate these humble servants who faithfully remind you of that standard, and the judgment day that you will soon be facing, which stirs you up into a frenzy, trying desperately to sear your screaming conscience by agreeing together upon your idols, and wiping the word of God off of the landscape. When you see our signs, or hear our words, or even think about us, you smell death and hell – consider the scripture:
2Corinthians 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
Well here’s what we say about your impotent efforts to silence the words of God in the earth:
First of all – you cannot, by force of numbers, out maneuver God.
Proverbs 11:21 ¶ Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
Secondly – we thank God for the fact that every time you make any move to shut up this preaching, the effect is an exponential amplification of these blessed words. Those efforts at MU to form a wall resulted in MILLIONS of eyes seeing our humble, loving call to repent! God hates fags, God hates fag enablers, and therefore God hates America, and America is doomed. It really is funny to see national, and international news stories, which detail our message to millions of people, and yet the headline says: Missouri students block Westboro Baptist Church. Alrighty then – with blocking that ineffective, they must have been coached by the Missouri Tiger’s offensive line. I digress again.
So let’s see what the scriptures have to say about your worthless walls:
Ezekiel 13:10 ¶ Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: [You hope to shelter yourself from God and his unchangeable standard by building a wall out of pure dung, which you then plaster over with a continual stream of lies in order to try to make it look less like crap]
11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? [But God loves everyone, how could this happen to us?]
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
Good luck with that wall – perhaps you can get some advice from the men of old Jericho – oh – that’s right – they all died that morning when the walls came tumblin’ down.
It’s time to put down your daubers and repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
