Today Is International Holocaust Memorial Day 2014. Let Us Summarize Relevant History In This Matter

By commandeering the word "holocaust" to describe this slaughter of Jews, studied and knowledgeable Jewish leaders in these last generations have wittingly distracted the ignorant masses into disregarding what that gruesome adumbration is pointing to.

“Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.  All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.” (Amos 9:8-10)

Today is International Holocaust Memorial Day 2014.  It is also the birthday of my son Amos.  So, it is perfect to consider these words of the prophet Amos in connection with the perpetual mea culpa this world engages in over the systemic extermination of an estimated six million mostly European Jews under the rule of Nazi Germany.

By commandeering the word “holocaust” to describe this slaughter of Jews, studied and knowledgeable Jewish leaders in these last generations have wittingly distracted the ignorant masses into disregarding what that gruesome adumbration is pointing to.

Let us summarize relevant history in this matter, so that we can be wise when we see the world recite the politically correct version of the Holocaust — in some nations at peril of being put hard in prison for daring to suggest an alternative view of the facts in the matter.

When the father of the Jews — the patriarch Abraham — was called out of the human race by the God of Creation, and led to sojourn in a land not known, he was promised:

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)

Rabbinical and other expository authorities agree that the language “in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” means, loosely put “In Christ, who shall flow from thy loins, shall all families of the earth be blessed”, which is the import of these passages:

Ac 3:25  Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. (Acts 3:25)

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. …  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:8, 16)

The Jews were promised a Messiah; Jesus the Christ.  He was called to fulfill the types contained in the Mosaic ceremonial law, and perfect the moral law by meeting it in every particular — making Him able to be a propitiation for the sins of the Elect — to the Jews first and also of the Gentiles!

The Jews observed the first advent of that Messiah, who walked among them and testified out of Moses and the prophets (the Old Testament) of Himself.  As was prophesied, the Jews rejected Him, to wit:

“Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?” (Matthew 21:42)

Yes!  You hateful Jews rejected Christ.  Worse than that, you hateful Jews killed Christ!  You exercised the power and authority — that you had in the right place in the world at that critical time in history — to ensure that Christ would be crucified!

While many of you will pretend that such a horrific crime was the doing of the Romans … in that those sodomite monsters were who carried out the order … you Jews had the power and, more importantly, your faithless forefathers insisted on taking the credit!  Read the words:

“When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.  Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.” (Matthew 27:24-25)

In truth, and in the 20+ years of experience of WBC picketers — from standing before you violent, wicked Jews from sea to shining sea, and places all the world over — you are to this day very proud of killing Christ.  You swear frequently to us that you would, and will, do it again and even a thousand times more if given the opportunity.  Jews hate Christ!

So, let us look now at the events of the Holocaust with that history, and see if we can learn something.  I offer to you first that when you consider what horrors you brought upon that Blessed One, in your faithless adherence to vain customs and idols, the punishment that each Jew faced at the hands of the hateful Nazis was altogether proper.  Consider these words, giving a clinical version:

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus [and] stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.  And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!  And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.  And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.  … And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,  They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.  And they crucified him, …  And sitting down they watched him there;   And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.  … And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,  And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.  Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,  He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.  He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.  (Matthew 27:27…43)

Christ was free of sin, whereas every Jewish man, woman, and child who suffered in the Holocaust were full of sin, making them worthy of death and hell.  More importantly:  You (through your arrogant fathers, whom you worship) did the crime, so you must do the time.

I offer to you next that the Holocaust was merely an adumbration, a sampling, a small example, of what has been promised to come upon the Jews of this earth as an integral part of that same Christ’s second advent.  While in the earth, Christ spoke of those things which are to come upon Jews as part of His revelation, to wit:

“For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.   Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.” (Luke 23:29-30)

That language should sound familiar to any who have read of those events to come, because you find this language there:

“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17)

Yes, compared in scope and intensity, the Holocaust about which this generation spends its energies lamenting and making vain promises of “never again”, the horrors that will come upon the whole of the world’s population, will indeed be remembered as the tea party it was.  But specifically, the words of the prophet Amos, with which I began this loving little talk, guarantees that there will virtually be not a single Jew remaining.  In another verse, Amos uses a most revealing and terrifying metaphor, to wit:

“Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.” (Amos 3:12)

But finally, I offer to you Jews who are given a heart to understand, the proper way to see the lesson of the Holocaust.  Repent!  Heed the prophetic words of Zechariah, if you are one of those among the Children of Israel for whom God has promised mercy, to wit:

“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:10)

As Revelation chapter seven recites, there will be a remnant of the Jews — 144,000 — who will be spared that true destruction; that thorough conflagration; that real “holocaust” that is still to come upon all Jewry.  To those, let me recommend on this International Holocaust Memorial Day that you have absolutely no part of the vain celebrations that permeate this silly day of memorial, but rather heed the words of the Apostle Paul — a Jew among Jews, to wit:

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:17)

We at WBC have great love and affection for our Jewish brothers and sisters, about which the Scriptures give us plenary discussion.  We understand the promise made to Abraham our spiritual father, and are thrilled to be part of your conversion.

Amen.
