You’re Clueless & Bible Dumb: 666 Time!

Thank God for the October 9th Pew Research Study results showing that one-in-five American adults have no religious affiliation. www.pewforum.org/Unaffiliated/nones-on-the-rise.aspx  33,000,000 brutes proudly proclaiming their cluelessness. No worries, though. We at WBC know the remainder of you are just as Bible-dumb … you’re just not quite as vocal about it — YET!

By the great mercy of God in sending me a blessed father and mother who raised me in the nurture and admonition of the LORD, I spent many hours in my youth reading the words of prophecy written about the end of days. I read the words of Revelation 13 about the rise of Antichrist, with the False Prophet promoting him with great power, like this:

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Revelation 13:15-18).

It always struck me as a matter too dark to understand. How could a generation so education, so advanced, with these words so readily available to every one of them, not be capable of seeing what was happening and prevent the horrors that will follow? I wonder no more.

To know the word of God, you have to actually read it.  Suddenly these beautiful words of prophecy from Christ — also about the end of days — come beautifully into focus:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” (Matthew 24:14-15)

Furthermore, at the beginning of John the Beloved’s words of prophecy in the Revelation, he comes right out of the gates with this zinger:

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 1:3)

Another period to come in that glorious end of days is identified as the time when the seven angels are told to “Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” (Revelation 16:1)  Even as the men of the earth are in the very throes of their torment … having been given the amazing details of it all in written prophecy for millennia to prepare themselves … will yet be utterly incapable of uttering anything but blasphemy against “God, which hath power over these plagues” (Revelation 16:9).

How can this be?  How can an entire population of the earth be so blind?

By God, of course. By a judicial and predestined stroke of blindness, of course.

The members of Westboro Baptist Church have been crying in your streets, warning you. Bringing faithful words, untouched by any personal bias or prejudice existing in our human hearts or minds. Just the unvarnished words of God’s prophecy, articulately applied to the events that we all share in common as the inhabitants of the earth in the last of all days. But, for the same reason the damned of Christ’s day believed not, even in the face of miracles:

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. (John 12:38-40)

The galloping rate at which this doomed generation is becoming “non-religious” is nothing but a necessary corollary to the fulfillment of the “more sure word of prophecy” (2 Peter 1:19) “whereunto [we] do well that [we] take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in [our] hearts“. A doomed generation must become aggressively non-religious, to be prepared to receive the mark of the Antichrist Beast.  No mysterious, “Omen-esque” drama here. This is the generation that will wear “666” on every right hand or forehead — loud and proud!

We at WBC can hardly contain our excitement at the prospects of what is shortly now to come to pass … much like our beloved co-elect brother Noah felt as the ark was about prepared and the clouds began to form.

Put on your asbestos shoes, my friends … I see rain in the forecast.

Amen.
