Drunk and Nude in Public, Oh My!

This week marks the second time in the last several weeks that a member of the British Royal family was photographed without clothes, and this time it was photos of Kate Middleton that were published.  They were taken when she was vacationing in southern France. What did the Royals do? Predictably, they sued the publisher. Here’s a clue, Kate: why don’t you do your duty to God and your fellow man instead of vacationing your life away? “As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.” Proverbs 11:22.

Kate, if you don’t want to be photographed naked, keep your clothes on at the beach — any beach.  “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.” 1 Tim. 2:9.

A couple of weeks ago, it was Prince Harry.  Prince Harry was photographed when he was wasted and naked at the Penthouse of his Las Vegas hotel while partying and carousing with a bunch of loose women.  Hey Harry, it’s a bloody marketing slogan; “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” isn’t real. The Royals are supposed to set an example of how others should behave, but they do the opposite. To quote a famous Brit, Sir Alec Guinness: “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. No, I’m not talking about Mos Isley, I’m talking about the Royal family.”  They are the poster children for adultery, fornication, and whoremongery, and always have been. God says to flee fornication and he that committeth fornication sins against his own body (1 Cor. 6:18).  We are told to abstain from it (1 Thes. 4:3) and fornication is not to be once named among the saints (Eph 5:30).  We are told to exclude fornicators from our membership (I Cor. 5).  A fornicator shall not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9).  Marriage is honourable in all, and that bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge (Heb 13:4).

The Bible says “Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering (sexual immorality) and wantonness (Lewd sexual behavior)  Rom. 13:13.  These things go together…. Drunkenness and sexual immorality. A drunkard shall not shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:10. Christ says “take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (eating and drinking to excess), and drunkenness, it is a snare for all men.  Luke 21:34. The Bible says not to engage in reveling and banqueting and partying.  1 Pet. 4:3. We are even to abstain for all appearance of evil. 1 Thes. 5:22.

The British Royals are a tourist attraction that is it.  They live off the backs of the British people and the British people love to have it so. 1 Tim. 6:6-10 But godliness with contentment is great gain.  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.  Hey Royals, you didn’t earn that wealth you were born into and you aren’t taking it with you.  “And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” The money of the royals will be their downfall. And listen up:  God is no respecter of persons.  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, “Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” Acts 10:34. God doesn’t care if you are a royal or not, He is not a respecter of persons. God is the One who made them royals in the first place; He loaned them what they have, and they waste it on their lusts.  Listen up, British royals: unless you repent, you will surely perish.   Luke 13:3. Amen.
