If you deny this science with respect to homosexuality, do you deny all science or do you enlist the aid of science and/or some scientists with respect to some other matters to assist your claims as to the
veracity of your religious beliefs?
There is no objective data “telling” you squat about this subject. What you mean to say is that there are theories which suggest… You know full well that criminologists have been trying to peddle that same bilge for over a century, now, that certain people are just BORN THAT WAY so either kill them at birth, or castrate them or WORSE. All such garbage has been dismissed off-hand by true scholars and true scientists.
What you know is that despite a person’s predisposition to commit this or that CRIME/Sin/action of any kind does NOT dictate what actions they actually take.
Either you are saying that humans are like brute animals who have no personal control or personal responsibility, and must act upon any all sinful, violent, riotous, sensual and devilish impulse that enters their dark, evil hearts. OR you are saying there is no such thing as a human committing ANY sin, and it is all just a matter of preference, perspective and there is no clear rules about anything. Either way, you are in big trouble with God except you repent (change your evil mind) about all such rebellious notions.
You would not attempt this backwards logic and silliness regarding any other SERIOUS matter. You would not, for example, suggest that the world MUST be flat because “science tells us” when you have photographic and eye-witness evidence of the fact that the earth is ROUND! You would not stand around nodding and whinnying like a dunce if someone tried to argue that 1) The sun does not rise in the East; 2) What goes UP must not always come DOWN; 3) Humans do not really need oxygen to breath; etc. etc.
Therefore, you are willingly ignorant of the things of God – but NOT unaware.
Here are the clear verses that apply to your question, and I suggest you study them, daily:
