Answers To Your Questions

Hi.

1. What is WBC’s official stance on the following websites: Pinterest, HelloGiggles, Gawker, Tumblr, and Facebook?
2. Does God hate Canada more or less than America?
3. Has a God Hates Fags rep ever used the n-word (i.e. God Hates N-words)? (This is a good opportunity to dispel the rumors, if not.)
4. What do you think of It Gets Betterish: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=it+gets+betterish
5. I will be interviewing It Gets Betterish. Is there anything you would like them to know about your mission, your organization, and how they could be better people in the eyes of the WBC?

Thank you.

Good evening!

Here are the answers you were looking for:

1.   Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook —  they’re just tools created by God. You can use them for good (like we at WBC do; we use them to publish the standards of God: “God Hates Fags,” “God Hates Fag Enablers,” “Obey or Perish,” and other timely and Biblical messages), or you can use them for evil (like the majority of people do; they publish their idolatry and whoredoms, and encourage proud sin: fornication, fags, idolatry, etc.). Gawker (and to a lesser extent, HelloGiggles) play heavily into the cult of celebrity worship (read: idolatry!) that defines American culture. Both Gawker and HelloGiggles (and other sites like them) are *full* of vanity; it’s almost hard to believe that with all the content generated on these sites, NONE is useful for a person’s soul. HelloGiggles purports to be a positive place for women — but as long as their focus is on vanity (“cute pictures!” “nail design!”) and sin (pretending like there’s nothing wrong with fags, premarital sex, etc.), their site is far more destructive to woman than the “slut-shaming” they decry (are you kidding? There *is* shame in being a slut! God’s standard is clear: one man, one woman, for life.). If HelloGiggles or any other site wants to send a positive message, this is what they should say: “Your whole job in this life is to fear God and keep His commandments. Do so, and you’ll be blessed by God. Fail to do so, and you only have curses and Hell to look forward to.”

2.   Well…on the one hand, America has had the prophets of God on her mean streets *every day* for 21+ years — and we’ve been persecuted, vilified, marginalized, beaten, etc. On the other hand, Canada completely banned WBC and her preachments from their borders. God knows the answer. But I ask you: seriously? All nations who hate and forget God (shown by rebellious, perverse, idolatrous lifestyles) will be turned into Hell; whether you’re hated first most or second most … does it really matter? Repent like Ninevah did and keep God’s wrath from destroying your nation while you still have time, you fools. (2 Corinthians 36:15-16, Psalm 9:17, Jonah 3:5-10)

3.    No. In fact, our pastor (Fred Phelps) and his children pioneered civil rights in the state of Kansas (his first case out of law school was to defend Gale Sayers and other KU students who were arrested for staging a sit-in). Pastor Phelps received honors from the NAACP for that arduous work.

4.    Boring. Another pretense that it’s fine to be a fag — rather than that homosexuality is a soul-damning, nation-destroying sin.

5.   If you’re not using your platform to encourage people to fear God and keep His commandments (including “love thy neighbor” — i.e., by rebuking them for their sin and warning all to flee the wrath to come), then you fail as human beings (Ecclesiastes 12:13). And mocking sin doesn’t make you funny or original; it makes you a fool (Proverbs 14:9).
