How Will You Answer When God Asks ‘Why Didn’t You Listen To My Servants??’

I noticed that in one of your videos it said that it’s too late for people to turn from their sins. If that’s true, then what is the point of all of this protesting and such that you guys do? I mean, if everyone is going to hell anyways, then what is the point?

Jane,

The Lord Jesus Christ commands his people to:

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

However the Word lands on a person’s heart, it is our duty to preach the Word.

Our pastor addressed this very issue in his sermon last Sunday. I would suggest you read the sermon here: http://www.godhatesfags.com/sermons/outlines/Sermon_20111113.pdf

This nation is so steeped in its’ sins that it is too late. God has given it up. That does not mean that there are no more of God’s elect out there that either haven’t been reached or God has not put it upon their heart yet to repent. We never said that everyone is going to hell. The vast majority of mankind is. But God has chosen a remnant. Those people will be called out of the corrupt mass and serve God.

“Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” Isaiah 1:9

The point Jane, is that we Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ec 12:13). We will put the Word of God before our generation. It may be that there is another of God’s people out there who will hear it and be called.

Regardless, we have a duty to do. Our question to you – why aren’t you and how will you answer when God asks why you didn’t listen to his servants and obey Him?

Thanks for writing!

A thankful member of Westboro Baptist Church
