My name is Chase. I am 16 year of age and a presbyterian born-again Christian. I, unlike most people, do not hate you. Most people send you messages of hate and of rude language or say dreadful things about you. I have a unexplained feeling about you and your family church. I have a love for you. I cannot explain it but it’s a feeling that throws me off. I do disagree with your beliefs, however. I do understand your theology on homosexual persons being condemned to hell. It comes from the fact that when people sin ( lust, pride, fowl
language, anger, or anything else ) they are instantly depraved of salvation because they are not perfect, and you must be perfect to enter the kingdom of God. However here is where you go wrong (I believe). Ask yourself these questions:
Is homosexuality a sin? YES
Have you ever lied, listed, felt anger, thought a bad thought, had pride, or any other sin? YES
Now I must ask you, what makes you different than them? Romans 8:28 says ‘for all have fallen short of the glory of god’. You and I are just as condemned to Hell as the next person. What saves you is not works, it is the grace of god and accepting him as your lord and savior. The bible says to love your neighbor, yelling at dead soldier family is not loving.
I would love to talk to someone. Anyone. Even a child about your beliefs and have a civilized conversation. Not out of hate, anger, or spite, but out of wanting to talk about our beliefs and having a mutual love for one another, not hate. Please email me back or something I would love to talk.

I, too, was exceedingly foolish when I was 16 years old, so there may be hope for you, young lad!
Whoever has been feeding you that rubbish, you need to get far away from them & pick up a KJV 1611 Bible and start reading it *for yourself* immediately if not sooner. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. Don’t even take your best friends in the world aka WBC’s word for it – start reading & don’t stop; re-read again & again, as Nehemiah did with those returned from captivity:
“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.” Nehemiah 8:8.
The only facts in your e-mail are that you’re 16 & that all humans sin. You have got to find out what the standards of God are – you lack the fundamentals. This is more needful than food, water, oxygen to you!
