Shush and Obey

Hello WBC,

First of all, I would just like to make my intentions clear in this e-mail so as to avoid any sort of friction. Although I am druid in beliefs, I in no way wish to convert you to my beliefs nor insult/disrespect yours. My intentions are only to ask a question as I am open to learning about your religion.

Okay, so you say that it is god that controls the hearts of men, and therefore it was not some Muslim extremist loyal to Osama bin Laden but rather God himself manifesting in the form of a Muslim extremist
performing the terrorist attack. Am I correct in saying that? If I am, then American soldiers are not fighting against extremists but rather God himself, and he eventually will smite them all down in his wrath because they fought for damned country. Furthermore, it was not an american soldier that killed Osama (which is in fact what happened) but rather a manifestation of God. I am just asking if I am correct in saying that is what you believe.

Also, one more question. Before the 12th century BC, there was no Old Testament Bible (which I believe is the bible in which you follow, correct me if I am wrong). If that is the case, then what were the people to do if they had no actual knowledge of the so called standards are set by God? How were they supposed to know they were going to hell if they had no idea of the standards set for them? And what about the other cultures in and around tht time period, such as tribes in Africa or the Americas, or perhaps the first peoples of Asia? How were they supposed to know any sort of standards when all Abrahamic religions were in and around the Mediterranean?

For now, those were my only questions… again, these are simply my efforts to be open about things so please, there is no need for any sort of argument here.

Peace and Love, blessed be,
David

David,

Ps 119:165  “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” However, Isa 48:22  “There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.”

The Ambassadors (2 Co 5:20) of the Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6) at WBC respond to your e-mail with Jeremiah’s words ringing in our ears about the false prophets of his and our times whose mantra was “peace,” and we warn you to stop bantering it about like you have a clue. Because you don’t. See Jer 6:14  “They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”  Because this last generation of the Adamic race has no peace with God, and when we speak of the proper meaning and application of peace, you brutes want war. David shared his experience which was the same.  See Psa 120:6-7:  “My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.  I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.” 7 billion souls vying for who can be the worst Cain or the worst Saul amongst you.

As to your “questions”—

God is an absolute sovereign over his creation including the establishing of rulers and nations. See Da 4:17  “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.”

The thing which our Lord did at September 11, 2001 (you can follow @WBCJon now @ThankGod4Sept11) and then what he did to Osama Bin Laden is found at Isaiah Chapter 10:5 “¶  O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6  I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. 7  Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. 8  For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? 9  Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? 10  As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; 11  Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? 12  Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. 13  For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: 14  And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. 15  Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood. 16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.” The immediate context relates to the 10 northern tribes. But this is how God rolls. He has repeated that pattern time and time again.

Far superior minds in the antediluvian and the immediate postdiluvian world didn’t require the writing of things down in a book. Even oral histories amongst indigenous tribes of america are altogether reliable. And more so when the devastation of the curse of fallen man was not as devastating. What the Lord Jesus Christ taught in the Garden of Eden and afterwards, face-to-face with our parents Adam and Eve, remained and remains hard-wired into the DNA of fallen man. And you do not have to take anyone’s word for that. You have the Holy Spirit that teaches it:  Romans 1:19 ¶  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” ETC.

The simple answer is that they are without excuse. The more lovely answer is found, for example, at Romans 9:17  “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”

Another answer may be found when you consider the millions of unborn infants slain in the womb or those who are born imbeciles (real ones – not those who make themselves so). Gen 18:25  “That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” Matthew 20:15 “ Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?”

Your questions may very well be the same that the native Canaanite tribes would have asked concerning God’s election of Israel (unto them and them only were committed the oracles of God; Romans 3:2); yet there were proselytes. Think Uriah the Hittite. Booyah! The answer is found in Romans Chapter 9 (because it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but God that sheweth mercy):  “19  Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20  Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24  Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

Respectfully you need two things bad, and your friends at WBC are the only ones that will tell you this: (1) You need to shut your proud, impudent mouth, pretending that you are calling God up onto your smelly carpet to inquire of him, and (2) you need to read, study, and love Hannah’s prayer, to wit:

1 Samnuel 2:1 ¶  And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2  There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. 3  Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 4  The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. 5  They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. 6  The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. 7  The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8  He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them. 9  He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 10  The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
