Subject: Threats on radio directed at W.B.C.

I figured you would want to be aware of this. I’m writing this to you formally in case you want to use in any litigation.

At about 4:51 p.m. today (June 20, 2011) I was listening to the Rick Roberts show on 760 AM broadcasting out of San Diego. I was driving in my car and was just north of Santa Barbara (as the crow flies about 170 miles away from San Diego) so what I heard on the radio was little doubt heard by many people over a huge area.

I had just tuned in and heard Fred Phelps, pastor of the Westboro Baptist Church talking about his church’s protest of military funerals at which point I heard a voice from the studio interrupt the newscast and the newscast ended. At that point the host of the show–a guest host named Jeff Prescott–made what I believe to be illegal/threatening comments: I can’t remember the exact order of words but he said that Westboro Baptist Church needed the “face” or maybe “faces” to be “rearranged”.

The actions of Mr. Prescott is inciting the public to committ acts of violence toward members of the Westboro Baptist Church. It is also my understanding that these shows are podcasted but whether or not this is the case, I know what I heard, and it is clear that this man was inciting violence and I will give a legal deposition regarding what I heard.

Good evening friends –

At this hour, we are swimming in a sea of such conduct. When the US Supreme Court ruled in favor of WBC to uphold the First Amendment, before the sun set on that day, the national media from sea to shining sea had Albert Snyder was featured on CBS Evening News on behalf of the Doomed US Military announcing that our blood would run in the streets.

Happily, and thankfully, we are not in their hands to save or to destroy. They are about the business of treasuring up wrath against the day of wrath. They are bringing the thunder onto this nation, so we say – THANK GOD!

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.” Romans 12:19-20

We feed the Bread of Life to all; but most loathe it.

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,” Isaiah 6:8-11

Finally, Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
