During birth, the boy’s body became stuck inside the birth canal after his head and one arm had been delivered successfully. When the doctor attempted to apply traction to the child’s underarm and head to dislodge him, he removed the boy’s head from his body. Blood shot out as the doctor tried to put the body and head back into the birth canal.
